What a great idea-Sam grabbing on to the “turn back time” solution after the Hansel-without-Gretl encounter. Of course, he would latch on to anything to save his brother...

This was great. Of course Sam would think about de-aging Dean to get rid of the Mark, but as Dean pointed out he would age again and the Mark return. And loved how Dean reinforced to Sam he had already saved him before lightening the moment with the benefits of having been a teen again!

Definitely the kind of thing Sam would do. :)

Oh Sam I hope you really do realize how you save your brother ALL of the time! Both of these boys need to be less hard on themselves. They do so much good, often against unfathomable odds. Nice to be reminded of that episode as I remember that I enjoyed the interaction between Sam and younger Dean in that episode. Anyway I love this tag scene you wrote here between the boys - something like this could definitely have happened!

I enjoyed this nice interaction between the boys after "About a Boy". I wondered why they didn't look into a spell to make Dean younger - but not too much - still has to be the "big brother". :) I never thought about Patrick though - good memory! I like when you do these 'take a moment for what matters' stories, because you do them really well. Show has glossed over this connection infrastructure in recent seasons, getting into the weeds with the seasons version of the world ending. "Do we have a plan to save _?" "No, but we'll figure something out." Sam & Dean giving each other a reason to keep going is the story.
