Forced plot device. That's a strike towards this story lines quality. Why would a new student immediately ask him to recall a past mission? A tragic one at that. Seems like you're trying to hard right off the bat to show how "haunted" he is..

honestly one of the better Stories in this cross. I know you started a rewrite at one point but dropped it. jist letting you know I miss this story!

Looked interesting, but within the first few paragraphs you had Glynda Goodwitch, of all people, stuttering. Such quick and casual character assassination gets a nope from me.

I like this book a lot I love books with a mysterious backstory and drama, and i love it even more since it makes time for humor as well!

The lemon scene could be been better, but it's decent enough I guess. Good work.

Whenever I see 'rewrite', I despair, as like 95 percent of all those end up being abandoned after a few chapters. :(

I honestly don't remember what this was all about... Oh this one. Yeah, I can see this having a rewrite. I remember some very obvious things being inconsistent or just too long in terms of what you where doing. So Hopefully it's better.
