I always wanted to know what was in Rebecca's files on Neal and Peter. It's great to read a story about what she might have collected and how it affects them when they see it.

Fantastic story. You really captured the characters and their relationship. Neil and Peter's inability to speak the emotional truth to each other was beautifully presented.

I love this little family.

This is great. Neal was private about his childhood, and Peter didn’t have that much information until he found Rachel’s research. Neal never seemed to want to talk about it or even to look back to share a memory or an experience. With this history Peter and El can understand why and maybe understand that Neal had less options than most other young people. It’s helpful to know, and it helps Peter face his guilt and judgment and then be a better friend to Neal. Because that is what Neal needs, Peter’s friendship. Thanks for writing, this was very good.

Hi, I don't really know "White Collar", but the story works without knowing anything, which is an accomplishment. Well done!
Just a single matter of word choice: Left alone, Peter leads a very 'complaint' Neal ... (I'd suggest complacent, pliant, or maybe stunned). Thanks and cheers!

Another wonderful story from you! I was so excited to see this. I can only imagine Peter's excitement and trepidation if he got a folder like this. And what it might contain! Great portrayal of Peter and El. El is such a savior to both of these men! This was a nice analysis of their relationship. Poor Neal in the moment he feared all of White Collar might have seen this folder. And going through it himself... When Peter swooped in at the end, my heart just melted. I could read this again and again!

Wow, Peter worries and tries to not feel guilty... El is just superb and Neal is heartbreakingly trusting...

Somebody actually got Neal's age right my heart breaks for the wounded child man emotionally he is stuck as a toddler

Good thing Neal wasn't mad and basically understood. Of course if Peter got something like that he would want to look through it. It would give him a better idea about the person Neal was when he was younger.
