Nice. This chapter made the characters act exactly according to who they are. You nailed Zeus to a T. This refusal to lend him the aid of even a weapon should not be forgotten by Perseus. I also like why Poseidon and subsequently Percy are unable to get aid from the other gods, and why Zeus wanted to so bad. Update soon.

There is a reason that Hestia is my favorite goddess. I love the back story on how only those the sea has chosen can defend her. I felt like it was like a push the story needed.
