It's kinda different to not have everyone hate Inuyasha, but also 'everyone' hates Inuyasha for a reason. Because he's different. Because he's hanyou. Because he doesn't really belong anywhere. Oh my, Rin is adorable. I think the Inuyoukai tribe really needs this breath of fresh air in the form of this tiny human child. If they can accept her, they could finally get rid of whatever is up their butts and see how amazing the world is outside of their tiny little worlds. Like the Chinese proverb "A frog in a well cannot discuss the ocean, because he is limited by the size of his well", these youkai don't know how amazing the world is. They see the sky, from the bottom of their well, and think it's the whole heaven.

Bro. BRO. Inuyasha seeing his mother's pain in his potential future with Kagome? Inuyasha not wanting Kagome to go through the same isolation and ostracism as his mother? Yes. YESSSS. Granted, Inuyasha was a bit wordy there, but the point stands that Inuyasha feels very strongly about making sure Kagome has a good life and doesn't "ruin" herself on a hanyou like him, as stupid as that sounds to Kagome. But yeah, ancient Asian cultlures were big on reputation, especially for women and their "purity" and "marriage-ability".

His youkai and human voices have the right idea. JUST MARRY HER ALREADY! Also, these curse attacks are going to make finding/fighting Naraku real difficult, Inuyasha... Just saying!

I think it's sweet that he prays to his parents to give him a sign. He wants it to work out, he just can't see how. And he really does think that his parents are watching over him. Inuyasha definitely had abandonment problems when it came to his dad, but it's such character growth if he really does think that his dad is still watching over him. *wipes tear*

Ohhh what does the Inuyoukai village look like? I'm so curious! Is it huge? Depending on how many youkai there are, maybe even sections to the village, like the layers that Japanese palaces had. Mountainous? Natural? Do they have permanent Japanese style architecture or is it like, tents? I don't think they'd be living in a cave like the wolf youkai do, but also they could? I wonder if they have a temple. Do they worship any of the Shinto gods?

Also, yes, Inuyasha, call it bullshit. It was totally bullshit. Sesshomaru, you done fucked up, you tried to kill him don't go turning this on Inuyasha. You figured that killing 'Yasha would make you the heir, don't deny it. You were an asshole and you didn't like that your brother, on top of being the heir to the tribe, was given Tetsusaiga and the black pearl and everything while you were the "superior" brother for being full-blooded.

I don't understand this mating thing though? If Inu no Taisho had bred with Izayoi on his first season and made Inuyasha, wouldn't that make Inuyasha older than Sesshoumaru? Since there would've been no way for Sesshomaru to exist since Inu no Taisho couldn't have laid with anyone else before Izayoi.

Sorry, that just doesn't make sense for me? I have some ideas about how it could work, but I don't know if you, the author, are okay with that.

I love this story. I just want you to know that I love Bloodline Curses. I love this story, and the tension, and the mild angst. I love the dynamics and how you've written this. I love the world building and how you're laying out this framework. I love how you're writing Inuyasha and Kagome's dynamic in a way that really shows how comfortable they are together and how all that time they've spent together while looking for the shards created the foundation for their trust and love for each other. How they want to protect each other so badly and see the good in each other even when the person themself doesn't.

I love your work SO much. Just because I'm confused over some things doesn't mean that this story isn't amazing as it is and worth every review and read that it's gotten and will get and all the praise that it deserves.

That Kouga and Inuyasha interaction was so accurate. I don't even know where to start, man. Of course, they're both worried and are willing to put down some of their pride for Kagome, but damn do they squabble like kids who want the same truck.

Can Kagome not heal herself? Is that not possible for her? Like, if she's trying to heal Inuyasha, I'd think she'd at least try to heal herself.

And Inuyasha, you little shit, THIS IS BECOMING AN ACTUAL PROBLEM. Don't be all "I am a man" on Kagome and just admit that you've got a problem here. Ignoring it is only going to put Kagome in danger when you can't protect her and then both of you are dead.

Daiki is... not snooty? I figured he'd look down on Inuyasha, simply because he's Sesshomaru's underling. It is funny to see Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship from an outsider's perspective, though. He has no idea what their bond is like and so when Kagome pushes Inuyasha's buttons or Inuyasha gets pissy, he doesn't know what to expect.

And InuYoukai Tribe? Damn, I totally forgot that there's probably more Inuyoukai. Duh. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru aren't the only dogs out there. The manga really didn't expand on many of the youkai tribes, did it? The wolves are really the only ones I can think of off the top of my head where it's confirmed that there are whole groups of them instead of like... two.

Well, if Inuyasha doesn't do... something... then they're all doomed anyways. So Inuyasha should probably get on that.

Oh man, this looks dope as HECK. I'm so excited to see where this goes, although I do understand that Inuyasha and Kagome have total plot armor.

But slow burn InuKag? I will hate you for it, but love the pain every step of the way. Mutual pining is my drug of choice, alright? There's nothing better than two absolute dumbasses convinced that a relationship will not work because the other person doesn't feel the same way, and literally everyone else on the planet can see that they like each other and a relationship would totally work except for the two that really need to hear it.

When you said that Shippo went off to fox school, I immediately thought of like, a modern highschool with uniforms and stuff. Lockers. Classes. The like. The immediate thought after THAT was "so like are they going to teach him how to be a fox? like, 'scream at people you like and dive headfirst into snow' stuff? ok go get good grades on being a fox, kid". But yes, it makes sense for Shippo to be educated by other kitsune. Because it's not like Shippo's the only kitsune left in the entirety of Japan, right? ...Right? *sobs quietly*

I love that Kagome and Inuyasha have a set game plan for feeling out villages. And that game plan is "fake dating AU". But babes, please be careful of suspiciously empty villages and villagers who are on their own with no seeming support. Do I have to play the horror movie soundtrack? Because I will play the horror movie soundtrack.

ANYWAYS this looks awesome. Might take me a little while to get around to reviewing the other chapters, but I hope to write some nice juicy comments. I'm trying to get into the habit of reviewing more, instead of automatically hitting 'next' like I normally do and then totally forget to say anything. Lol, I'm a bad reader sometimes.
