This is an amazing story! It flowed so smoothly, i loved all of them circling around Percy in the river, adored Annabeth preping the medkit, and percy's whole concussed scene was perfect.

Never heard of that. Also yeah, that is TOTALLY the kind of thing Percy would do with a concussion.

This is a really well written one shot. And we'll researched for the resources you had. however, the situation you have described here would work a bit better with veins. a large cut to a vein is much, much harder to seal than a small nick to an artery. our body actually is more capable of sealing arteries due to the muscles present in the arterial walls. veins don't have that which is why they need more active compression for longer periods.
Um, sorry. Just medicined all over.
Doesn't change the fact that this is an awesome premise and one shot.
