Loved the ending with Pastor Jim and Sam pranking Dean and John with the chilli! And just loved the final two sentences.

Great chapter and loved the differences between the dramatic, with Sam's temperature going up and the lighter hearted moments with the wet cloth. And great you had John actually apologise to Sammy and how you wrote it was so realistic, just how they would have reacted in canon. And can imagine Sammy remembering fondly Dean doing Christmas for him as a kid.

Uh oh, that's not good. :) The part about Sam's eye's rolling back in his head and him collapsing was right on the money. That's just what it felt like when my lights went out. My mom said one minute I was standing up, and the next my eyes rolled back in my head and I was on he floor. I remember it to some extent and I was there, thinking how I was going to get dressed and make it out to the car and then the light went out. Your wording was spot on. Thanks for the story. So John only left to help guide the EMTs. And interesting the brother was the spitting image of Sammy at that age, Pastor Jim has a right to be worried as do the rest of them. And hope it's just a dream Sam is having at the end of this chapter.
