Lovepeaceandwar chapter 13 . 5/15
This story is so well written. I don't know why I put myself through the struggle of reading amazing incomplete works. Maybe I do it for Hiccelsa. There's not enough of them in this world. I love how you have written their relationship. It was an incredible story.
Drago1404 chapter 1 . 11/22/2019
is this abandoned?
brandonbgamer chapter 5 . 2/7/2019
The magic song references Greek Mythology. There is a theory that the magic golden flower grew at the exact same spot that Pain and Panic turned Hercules mortal with Hades’ mortality potion. After all, Hades did call Herc a “little sunspot”. Please capitalize the word “fates’” because another song that uses that terminology has the word capitalized.

Same to you.
Not just a guest chapter 13 . 9/20/2018
So glad to hear you survived, and not just because your story is amazing but incomplete.
Perhaps you should get a customized T shirt to commemorate and show off with? Something like:
“I survived being sick, a hurricane AND computer problems...nailed it”.

Take care
Noctus Fury chapter 12 . 9/2/2018
Hey KAZ,

I really enjoyed this chapter. Again, I'm marveling at Eret's inability to shut his bloody mouth! He's more annoying in this story than in the movie! lol XD

You did a great job bringing the tension in this chapter - especially with the question on whether or not the Berkians would join with Arendelle and fight against this supernatural enemy.

I really enjoyed the scene where Elsa and Hiccup are playing chess and Hiccup's creaming her. And then going onto the serious discussion of his people joining and the question of why he made his decision. Needless to say, the Hiccelsa fluff was my most favorite. Very delicious. lol XD

Keep up the great work, my friend. Well done!

Omg. Lol. Can't wait
Noctus Fury chapter 11 . 8/23/2018
Yay! Another chapter!

And, judging by the fact that Eret has Stormfly, I'm assuming that Toothless killed Astrid, then? :'(

And here we see a scene where Anna gets to appreciate a shirtless Hiccup. *Grins cheekily*

I was so happy to see Merida! I loved the scene where they were looking at the Lights. I never knew that they were called the Merry Dancers. What a beautiful name! I love learning history! Thank you for implementing them into your story! I LOVE IT when authors take the time to sew in history into their stories! XD

And I'm so glad that Rapunzel and Eugene reunited with Elsa. And I loved how you had Elsa bristle at Eugene's hand-holding but ignores it and trusts him because he's Eugene. I guess she's still sore from earlier's situation. lol XD

Also, Eret flirting with Elsa like a common woman *inhales sharp breath* Yeah, he had best thank Hiccup for saving his life. No matter how hot she is, she's STILL the Queen! RESPECT! lol XD

I laughed at the part where Anna thinks that they're gay. Actually, as a Viking, that would've been a big insult. But Hiccup being Hiccup, naturally he acts as Hiccup does. lol XD

I have to say that I concur with the information about Vikings and Homosexuality. Allow me to add to that knowledge, if I could.

Vikings, as you've stated, hated homosexuality not for moral or religious reasons but because of sexual identity. What you were born was what you were. Any deviation from that was considered a HUGE insult to the gods and not one to take lightly.

It was forbidden for men to have relations if they're either not married or married but don't have kids. The biggest duty of a man was to continue his legacy. If he failed that, he was NOT looked well upon AT ALL. Men and women couldn't avoid marriage and/or those of the opposite sex without having the stigma of "fleeing the sexual organ of the opposite sex" (I'm saying this in general terms; specifically, women had great shame if they avoided marriage and were called "fleeing the man organ", and vice versa if it was a man.) Now, since women weren't allowed great status and rights unless they were widows or wealthy (even then though it wasn't has high as men), nobody would've cared if two women went at it; just so long as they were married and had children, same with the men, though it was worse for them.

Even if the men were married and had kids (which was tolerated), they kept it behind closed-doors, as I doubt their women would've looked on it very well, and could divorce them for adultery, which back then would've been a VERY bad thing, since most Viking men had farms to run and needed the children to help manage the farm. But with men, SOMEONE was going to have the short-end of the stick. If you were the receiver, you were fulfilling the "woman's role" while the giver was fulfilling the "man's role". Receivers, obviously, ended up getting the stigma due to receiving the manhood as a woman would. And he would be no better than a thrall by that point. If a man had relations with a thrall, that was totally fine, as thralls (slaves) were just above animals and, since they were a Viking's property, a Viking could do whatever he wished on his slaves male or female - so long as he didn't wander into his neighbor's property.

Despite there not being any mention of Norse lesbians, remember that as a whole in Nordic society, what women did didn't matter, so long as they did their job and didn't try to go outside their social position (though, remember that Viking women still had more rights and freedoms than your average European woman), and thus were rarely mentioned save for legends and sagas. However, I'm sure that, like the men, the women would've had to have been married and have kids for it to be exceptable. But, being women, they'd have been able to do it and nobody would know. The problem is that houses were one floor and if someone wanted to have sex, then everyone would have to be kicked out or out doing other business for it to happen, unless the family wanted a front row seat. So they'd have to do it secretly. And so long as women still bled by the time they married to prove her virginity, it was fine. However, this can't be proven, so this is all just speculation wherever the women are concerned. Also, I'm guessing it would've been fine for the women in that they don't have a male organ so neither of them would've been in the "man's role". I guess. I know nothing about lesbian sex, nor do I want to know (and I'm sure that whatever is in fanfiction and porn is absolute malarcky).

Oh, and also, concerning lesbian relationships between women in a polygamist relationship, that's a myth and didn't happen. For one thing, the whole Viking men and having multiple women is a myth because the wife had sole rule of the house and had a say on who was coming into their house. And I doubt she would've wanted her husband to come home with another plaything. That'd have been reason for her to divorce her. And the man didn't have the say in the matter, and probably would've been in his best interests to shut it and deal with it. Fact of the matter is a multi-member marriages never works. Jealousy and competition and hatred always stem from them. No wife wants to share her man with another woman, whether a fellow wife or a concubine or even a female thrall. No one like competition. As a result, wifes and concubines NEVER got along, and in the rare occurance that it did, usually stemed from their mutual hatred of their mutual husband (which usually ended up in the guy's murder). So whenever you see Hiccup/Eret, Hiccup/Astrid/Eret, or Astrid/Hiccup/Heather relationships - NEVER would've happened historically. Also the whole Hiccup/Valka thing - na-ah. Hiccup would've been SOOOOO outcasted for that, chief or not. Incest was a BIG no-no.

As for the myths, there's actually very little on the sexual part. Unlike the Greek and Roman deities, who just LOVE their sex with anything and anyone, Norse myths focused on warfare and battle and feasting. Yes, they had sex, but it's not as prominent as those of other cultures. And from what I've read, there's no mention of homosexuality (obviously because the greatest honor a Viking did other than dying in battle was to continue his family line, and going outside your gender's role was considered a great insult to the gods; same with cross-dressing), and I doubt there was, or else the Vikings would've been fine with it, in my opinion. As you've said, there's not enough proof to claim of being tolerant without SOME stigma for SOMEONE.

I hope this was of some help. I love history. And since getting into the books and movies of HTTYD, I've grown to love Viking history.

Personally, I'm not into LGBT. I'll never attack someone for being that, but I'll never support it either. For me, "gay" is a word meaning happiness or extreme esctasy; the rainbow means promises and a sign of natural beauty; "slash" means something with claws; "yaoi" and "yem" are Japanese words that I don't know; M/M is something having to do with sexual assault on boys; and F/F is something having to do with a perverted man's porn fantasies. I was born in the '90s for crying out loud. For me, I LOVE women, and I always will, and nobody's going to shame me for loving them (and I don't mean it in a perverse way). And DANG if Elsa ain't the purtiest thing I ever did see! Especially with that dark blue Christmas dress! I LOVE FASHIONABLE CLOTHING! (it's my one weakness *wink, wink*) lol XD

Loved this chapter, hope to hear from you soon.

Loved the chapter. On a separate note I’m very irritated that I didn’t catch that Astrid and Stoic switched places. Never really considered the possibility. I would love to see how that goes.
Noctus Fury chapter 10 . 8/15/2018
Oh! Another wolf creature in mythology and lore is the Zburator - a wolf-dragon hybrid from Dacian lore that's able to fly and breathe fire. I was trying to remember that name for the life of me so I wasn't able to add that to the list of creatures I added last chapter.

Also Berk doesn't just have wood to trade, but fish, wool, furs and pelts, ivory from walruses and narwhales, amber, Gronkle Iron, and other things. I doubt though that Stoick and the other Berkians would be willing to reveal the dragons and their secrets to Arendelle. I doubt that the rest of the world would be too receptive to it.

I'm not getting the double entendre. She just said that she was willing to provide better rooms.

Also, that was a wonderful history lesson with Harald Fairhair and Gandalf. Though, I'm sorry, Gandalf the Gray Wizard has forever etched himself into my mind whenever I hear of the name. lol XD

Also, brownie points for adding Hiccup the First in there. I really hope that Cressida Cowell adds to the history of Hiccup the First and Second. Especially the First. I'm actually planning on writing the histories of Hiccups the First and Second. Much of it will be fan-based since Cressida didn't really write much of their histories and backgrounds. :'( But yeah, I really love the HTTYD books and I want to write the histories of the first two Hiccups. If I feel like it, I'll also write the chronicles of Hiccup the Third that details the events of his reign from his coronation and the ending of the Second Dragon-Human War to his death at the age of 76. Though, they're quite ambitious projects and I'm not sure when I'm going to be working on those.

Also, seeing the arrival of Eret was a little shocking. lol XD

Can't wait for the next chapter, my friend! _

So let me get this straight. Not only have you tied in lord of the rings, but trollhunters as well! I literally just finished the show last night and had no idea you were going to do that. Psychic I swear. And the dude with the one arm and coin is either the daemon bear mordu or drago bludvist. That’s my prediction.
Theother1.gater chapter 9 . 8/4/2018
The plot thickens. A whole town turned against them. Wolves amongst monsters, books with hidden meaning, strange requests from foreign countries. I quite like this chapter. I really look forward to your next update!
Noctus Fury chapter 9 . 8/2/2018
A very good chapter. I would've been very annoyed with the dreams. I mean, come on, can't a guy get some sleep without some dream waking him up? lol XD

These creatures are either Draugars, Larkas (wolves with wings), or Draugar Wolftaurs (half-human and half-wolf hybrid creatures) or the Dragon-Wolves (half-wolf and half-dragon). They don't seem to be werewolves at all. In fact, I just can't seem to grasp what they are to begin with. I know the black sand is something having to do with Pitch Black, but what about the others?

The chapter was frightening, to say the least. I laughed when Elsa came into the house and Hiccup's words were: "So . . . how's your night going?" HAHAHAHA! I laughed alongside them. XD

The Shrek reference flew over my head. I'm not a Shrek fan nor will I ever be. lol

I can't wait to see what'll happen next. Thank you for writing this and for sharing this with us.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Will you also include or mention Transylvania? Please do it, especially rumors of a wedding between a Count and Lady Lubov
