FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS

Captain America is right about Bucky. Bucky was about to be assassinated by a swat team and Steve wanted to have a fair investigation. That's why he defended Bucky. He was also about to sign the accords until tony mentioned Wanda and let's not forget the Hydra fiasco. Steve could not trust the government the way he did because of that. He even admitted that he wasn't sure that he was fighting for the right thing when Fury kept giving him questionable mission and orders. Steve said that in Winter Solder while visiting Peggy. Also tony was building Ultron behind everyone's back and no one knew about it except Bruce. Tony was about to attack Bucky until Steve grabbed his arm trying to calm him down. The fight in Siberia was something Zemo wanted to happened with Stark being unstable (PTSD and guilt) as he already is he knew he would snap if he saw his parents dead by the guy right next to him. Telling Tony what happened to his parents would have needlessly reopen a wound and he would have wanted to hunt down Bucky who is innocent of the crimes he committed. Captain America was not wrong in Civil War but it could have been handled better especially by Tony.

Do you think you could continue this? I'd love to see how the tea acts around Tony and how Tony interacts with his Dad.

I enjoyed your story. ... Sorry, I'm having a writers block so I literally put what I think on paper. I liked this story, everything about it. Especially how Howard apologized and admitted that he was a horrible father. Also, I like that Fury sided with Tony and he was actually recommended before Romanov. I think Fury was just trying to protect Tony from what would no dought be his death. He actually cares! You know, I read some fanfictions about how Fury almost became Tony's godfather. I like those. their sweet.

It's a good read, but like Steve, I'm totally against the accords. You cannot give a governing body the ability to control a group like that. That's how the Jews were forced into concentration camps and knowing that Steve had seen all of that happen plus helped liberate some of the concentration and death camps, anyone can see why he'd have a hard time signing something like that.

Now, if one particular agency, NOT the UN (because they're nothing but a bunch of screw ups anyway) were put in charge of giving them orders, kind of like SHIELD had been, then maybe the Civil War wouldn't have happened.

Also, making them register their abilities was a little much, too. Again, that goes right back to the real life situation of the Jews and the X-Men idea of requiring mutants to be registered. All registries do is give governments lists of people to go after/target and 'make them disappear' without them having to prove that they have committed any type of crime.

So yes, I can truly see Steve's point more than Tony's, especially since Tony was doing it more out of a sense of guilt than truly feeling like it was the best thing to do.

HELL YES! You have no idea how happy this story made me. I was so happy to see 1- Howard not being an asshole. 2- Steve finally getting some common sense slapped into him. 3- someone finally taking Tony's side! Thank you Fury!
