Fuck I really loved this story.
I've only started to get into Tomione this year and you are truly one of my favourite authors for this ship. I loved their dynamic in this story especially, with Hermione being extremely unimpressed by Tom and Tom being his typical arrogant self. I also really liked the natural progression of their interaction. While I'm extremely grateful for any and all content fanfic writers provide for the world to read, it kind of irks me when characterisations are just kind of unrealistic (like Tom immediately being taken by Hermione which I just don't see happening), and you didn't do that. The only reason Tom started giving Hermione the time of day was for his own selfish reasons and that, plus him trying to crucio her bc she annoyed him, is (at least to me) very in character.

Anyways, I always enjoy a good dark/morally grey Hermione because it's just so much fun to read and I really think you nailed that. Furthermore we love a good emotionally inept Tom Marvolo Riddle who doesn't recognize romantic feelings if they were to spit him in the face.

Awesome, Tom's first crush. Of course he would be confused and have weird feelings and thoughts that he can't quite know where or why they come from. Even if logic tells you one thing experiencing it is so new and weird that it takes time to adjust. And since Tom Riddle would never confide in anyone about these new feelings it would be easy for it to turn into a confusing obsession

I am confused, Tom met Hermione before he found the Chamber of Secrets yet the class with the amortentia was given to the sixth years by Slughorn right?

Even though I'm half convinced this is abandoned, I'll still happily reread it over and over again, this was such a beautiful fic to read, it really captivated me, and I like how it isn't a normal time travel fic, the part about Hermione losing her memories was really cool and creative, I wonder if she will get them back though? I also really like how it's all in Tom's perspective, idk why but I do really love reading fics from his. Anyway, I hope you had a good mother's day!

As I re-reading this fic, I noticed you revised the whole fic in mid April and because of that I have hope you will update soon.
I've read many Tomiones but I think yours is the most unique with the very original plot. And your writing style of Tom POV get me really hooked. And dont forget about Hermione's characterization here, absolutely brilliant. Because it is rare to find an elegant Dark Hermione.
