I can do nothing but give a contented sigh. There is so much right about this ending (is it an ending? Because it sure feels like one. Though I hope it's not). She isn't gone and he stands at the doorway to a temple where he'll leave behind something and, like the wild jungle life around him, will rise from what is left behind. And they'll be alright.

What will he find in the temple? Will we ever see? How will the Resistance win? Will he help them? Will there be amazing sex when he finds her without a map? Are any of these questions going to be answered?

But, honestly, this chapter was so emotionally satisfying, I'd be kinda okay if they didn't get answered. If you are planning on answering them, by all means please do so! I'll still be following along eagerly. But this was such a good chapter, I'm satisfied. Thanks!

Oh crap. I guess they aren't going to be on the same page at the same time and conscious. Or corporeal. Darn.
Of course, I always hope for a happy ending. But they cant really have one, can they? There can be a good ending, but not exactly a happy one.
Strangely, the image that stays with me the most is Finn's despair. Him screaming her name, pulling her into his arms, his body wracked with sobs over his best friend.
I really like what you've done with the imagery around their connection, the cord between them.

These two! *exasperated sigh* Will they ever be on the same page, at the same time, and both be conscious?

The first oneSearch your feelings...has got to be Yoda. Second one (Truth is a matter of perspectiveI'm getting Qui-Gon vibes, but for some reason can more easily picture Samuel Jackson saying them, so maybe Mace Windu? For the next two, I'm coming up with nothing. But I'd like Obi-Wan to be the one saying "Balance the Force" because the thought of his accent and warm voice echoing just makes just makes me melt.

As always, I'm really enjoying your story. It is never predictable, but always believable. Meaning, I'm perpetually surprised at a new turn, then find myself thinking, "Yeah, that makes sense. This is totally what would happen."

Thank you for sticking with this story! It is so rich with so many layers, I'm glad you have been continuing it.
