This was really sweet and made me tear up quite a bit. I love how Masako realized that the group wasn't close enough, and Masako and Ayako's stories were great too. I hope you write more about them and the rest of the group too!

I love how you give us a close insight into Masako and Ayako in this, and how Masako's thoughs echo what Mai voices about them not knowing each other very well. And yet they get along, you can feel the camaraderie even though there's this slight distance between them. They're still getting to know each other, or maybe haven't really had a chance to get to know each other, like this, before now. A wonderful illustration of new growth in the SPR family :)

And LOL, I love this part at the end with Yasuhara! First deferring to Ayako, then offering a space in their cabin, and mentioning how John wouldn't let him drink underage. Bless him :)

Love this. Love how the characters are potrayed in depth. Also, poor Mai. Someone teach Oliver some manners.
