Guest chapter 4 . 6/29/2019 This is a really fun premise! Also, your characterizations of both Ichigo and Uryu are a pleasure to read. Poor Uryu definitely needs a bit of love to help him start to believe in his place in their pack. Thanks for sharing! |

Guest chapter 3 . 4/1/2019 … Rereading this, it occurs to me that it wouldn't be shocking if somehow Urahara of all people managed to figure out at least a little bit of their shared curse-it's existence and the strong possibility the boys are being affected by it- just by diving into those books. Uryuu may have only found some vague references when he looked, but these are more advanced, more difficult tomes and if the curse accelerates healing in some way whose to say some pragmatic ancestor didn't think to write about that among the healing techniques, and Uryuu's German just isn't good enough? (Or whichever language that ancestor spoke. Maybe they were Italian, or Romanian, or something Uryuu can barely even recognize let alone read. If he wants to preserve the knowledge accumulated it might be a worthy long term project to create translated copies of anything he or his can translate accurately enough. Maybe the whole pack can help, someday.) |
Guest chapter 3 . 4/1/2019 I am /so/ glad Ichigo spent so much of this chapter flopped over Uryuu or snuggling in his sleep. I wanted to hug Uryuu so many times! It's nice that he was actually effectively getting hugged after all. 3 Everybody wants to help~! Everybody's worried about both of them~! Uryuu they will beat their friendship into your head one way or another eventually! Pack is Pack and they might not be wolfy-Quincy but they will probably be just as quick to latch into the label once the explanations come around. It suits this group well. 3 (Beware, though. Inoue will try to feed them when she finds out they need to eat more, and they might even actually indulge her when they aren't too listless. XD ) |
Black Bankai chapter 3 . 4/1/2019 That was awesome |
Guest chapter 2 . 3/12/2019 3 I love this. These boys. This concept - the pack. All the *flops on packmates* habits already showing... 3 I can't help unintentional ponderings of how this is going to end up looking to others for a while, especially before Ichigo has helped Uryu see that the rest of the pack won't be upset about their curse, or treat them differently except to help however they can. If they start seeing the stoic pair willingly leaning on each other without severe battle-exhaustion to explain it, steadily doing such things more and more... *giggles* They aren't usually the tactile sort, really. Once they know, I can see casual acceptance of random napping while they group up for lunch and such, even deflecting others from interrupting or commenting (they can all get scary when they are feeling protective). But without that key datapoint? Even Orihime isn't going to think "werewolf instincts", not until catching them with the physical hints a least. XD Ichigo is going to end up having a lot of sleepovers, and I do so wonder what his family will think at first... :) Has Uryu encountered Isshin's parenting style yet? Because with these instincts and the resulting clingy issues they both are having, I can easily see his first reaction i/now/i being to try to violently dissuade Isshin from attacking his packmate. And having growling problems, internally if not aloud, over the idea of this being "normal". Because even if it usually results in Isshin flying into a wall or out a window, it's still not-so-playful and Uryu is more aware than Isshin at the moment of how badly Ichigo is hurting, plus he's currently focused on trying to help fix that so we might have a bit of the "medic's prerogative to be violently defensive of their patient" tendency influencing things... |
Guest chapter 2 . 1/1/2019 Like it! |
