So far this story seems like it will be more likely to end the way the show should have, but had made unlikely by the end of season four and impossible fairly early in season five. I wish the show had moved in this direction before so many things had happened that the promised golden age could never occur.

Wow... Taking into consideration everything that Merlin had suffered all the way up to this point, the weight of those words would make even the strongest of men reduce to tears.

I absolutely love how you have Morgana going into Merlin's mind through their bond with Runa's help to save him. I am anxious to see how you will develop and explore this bond between Merlin and Morgana. I feel it was something that should have and could have existed in canon. The show could have ended on a happier note. I see Merlin and Morgana developing an epic love through the trials, getting married and making an amazing family together.
I love how you have Hunith and Balinor reunited with Merlin to help bring him back to the light.
That curse Morgause cast is frightening. Poor Merlin. I am glad you didn't go into details of his torture, the results of it were horrifying enough.
I love the kingdom of Galdra you have created with the dragons and magic. Brynjar and Runa rock my socks. Runa is awesome, a great match for Gwaine. I love that she is a warrior princess and both her and her father have magic. I have started a story and wonder if it is okay if I use some of the family background and connection you have here.
I would be interested in the bag of things Morgana got from the seer and how she uses them. Is the seer going to train Morgana aand Merlin?
I can understand why Merlin would not want to go back to Camelot after being in Galdra. He is safe to use his magic in Galdra, has family support and he can be himself. But Uther being Uther and Arthur wanting to find him creates a whole other dimension to the story that could or could not end pleasantly. Maybe Arthur can get Uther to step down from being king as Uther seems more repentant than he was in canon although you show Uther here as also being ruthless and unreasonable. I am guessing Uther is not comfortable with feeling remorse of any kind and squashes it down in favor of following his more ruthless impulses.

I love this story. It explores other sides of so called "destiny" that Merlin had willingly and blindly followed based on Kilgarah's words. So glad he had his cousin this time. Looking forward for a better unfolding of Merlin's destiny. Thank you for the update.

Yay! So glad for the update. I couldn't remember half the story so I re-read the whole thing so I could start the newest chapter. I can't wait to see how the Galdarians react to their new found heir being Emrys!

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the druids and by extension everyone else reacts to finding out Merlin is Emrys, I'm honestly hoping it's going to be awesome. I am curious as to if the knights of the round table are still going to be formed and what this means for the Merlin timeline. If Merlin doesn't go back who is going to help protect Arthur and all of Camelot? And honestly Merlin is Arthur's advisor in all that matters I really don't know what you have planned for all of this but I'm looking forward to what you do with it.
