GameOfFandoms, Although I did not read this story, I want to tell you this about this that you've wrote here...

This is NOT in anyway shape or form an Cliche, from my experience as an Author: A Cliche is only bad because you're not putting your own spin on the common Tropes, which you have done so here. Weather or not this has been done to death is fucking irrelevant, Authors like you are doing things their own way; I repeat: This is not a Cliche, it's a common trope and it DOESN'T have to be done to death just to be one...

I just found this story and read all 7 chapters and I must say that it's very is a relatively clićae (exuse my grammer) plot,but it's well done nonetheless and has some cool twists in it.I hope that you will complete this story,and have frequent updates.

Stoick displayed some practicality there to not order anyone to go out and hunt down the fugitive (doing so would have been pointless since Hiccup is outcast anyway).

Practical/thoughtful dragons indeed...

That ending though, I see what you did there. Oh, do I have thoughts on what will happen soon in film III...

That felt like a believable diversion from what happened originally in the Ring. Hiccup burning his past was sad and symbolic indeed but also necessary in his mind. I wonder what the significance of Gothi's expression could mean. Possibly an eventual return or calling of fate to bring him back eventually?

Using dragonese to make plans with the caged dragons. Makes sense. It does sound very convenient though to have Hiccup be able to speak a language meant for very different bodies.

A tense moment there between Hiccup and Astrid as she was looking to get her ax sharpened. Why do I think that the ship has sailed with no romantic flight or moment of realization for her?

Hiccup in a drinking contest. What a sight that must have been. At least he performed well under the circumstances.

What is plan B? It is a fair point from Toothless that Hiccup's attempt to change the village is also directly risking Toothless's life.

Two rather important talks in here. Bittersweet again that Stoick seems to be respecting Hiccup more now that he is behaving more like a 'true Viking' in Stoick's eyes. The other talk is obviously H&T talking for the first time. I thought they would have had some more bonding-focused talks, such as shooting down and grounding. Maybe those will be covered later though. I do like how the communication is imperfect right now. No reason to assume perfect fluency from the start.

This is a very nice story. I personnally just love the "Hiccup ran away" type, and it's just the best there ever was when he makes it known that he is not on Berk's side.
And well, while reading the bit where Stoick says Valka would be ashamed of him, I just could't stop thinking about him seeing Hiccup and her together, with the full power of the Bewilderbeast's nest backing them.
Anyway, great story.

That was bittersweet to see how proud his father was of him for being 'brave' and fighting off the dragon. Hiccup finally gets approval that he wanted and finds that it is empty.

Neat little divergence to have no 'romantic flight scene'. Also, the Queen can psychically speak. Hiccup has a natural 'gift' with 'dragon language?' Interesting. You definitely have the Hiccup sarcasm down. Let's see how you plan on making this different from all the other 'running aways' out there.
