Just read up on all the chapters today, damn this story is pretty dark. Nonetheless, I do enjoy the writing and the portrayal of Jaune's traumatizing effects. The Jaune/Blake interactions are also very interesting to read. Keep it up, the story's really good so far.

To be fair to both Ozpin and Blake, they both have points. A large amount of trauma therapy focuses on the acceptance of the traumatic event. However, verbally manipulating and pushing someone through that is underhanded and dangerous. And no one has still addressed the fact that Ozpin deliberately risked any other kid going through initiation by casually tossing Jaune in.
But it was interesting to see Jaune's opinion if his own semblance and facing the trauma. Now if only Ilia would stop taking romantic cues from Creep-Master Adam it would be less likely that this ends with her bearing the pain that Jaune will cause her by merely being attacked and having his Semblance active.

You know Blake has never showed any interest in the same sex, so maybe Ilia and people who ship Blake with any female should fuck off.

Well it's nice to see blake relationship with Ozpin is permanently damaged.

Remind me again why so many people live blake?I get jaune both because their relationship is twisted enough they can't let each other go if only cause their more than a bit codependent on each other and jaune can't touch well this one had blake far more involved in the whole terrorist thing so I definitely see why if he thought she would keep though?Got no idea.

Ironically enough the best teamwork we saw in the show was with Roman and Neo who were beaten through a dirty trick.

So not a lot of people know this, but I absolutely despise Ilia. I never cared for her character. Not when she was bad, and not when she became good. Even I don't 100% know the reason for my dislike of her. I have no justifiable reason to dislike her so strongly. I know that, yet for some reason I do.

Either way, I'm still interested to see what you're going to do with her after reading the ending of this chapter. She seems like she's just gonna be the jealous pain in the ass she was in the show, but that can always change. Still, referring to Blake as "her love" is pretty blegh. It's just as cringy as when Adam said it in the show, but that's probably what you were going for lol Blakes conversation with Ozpin was pretty interesting and as always I'm happy to get some cute moments between her and Jaune.

Ilia's coming? How could this possibly end poorly? Not like her target can literally kill her from a distance or anything... totally can't!

ilia Seems like a goodish if not almost stalkers level obsessed girl. Blake was able to convince her to join the side of “good” with much less poininent evidence and a less convincing argument add to that that sun was openly combative with her and I would guess that this jaune would be too defensive be and frightened to seem like the monster he’s described to be. Add to that that Blake would vouch for him to the ends of the earth and I can’t see her going along with the clearly genocidal Adam at least in the show he was pretending not to go full 1972 Summer Olympics. In therapy when an emotional connection such as romantic feelings are involved normally admiring those feelings and confronting them helps get over trauma that is linked to them. This however is a difficult thing to do and often takes hard work I can see ozpin hiting jauns problem from that direction. Good chapter I really like how Blake is developing this is even furtherd by having Nora and ren along with her and jaune since they have a complex emotional relationship too and would unlike others allow them the breathing room and space to let it develop and breath naturally.

call me out if im wrong but this has a similar premise to a Naruto fan fic i read many MANY years ago called Human Contact and i was wondering if that was the inspiration. that one was never completed so i have high hopes for this one. well done, cant wait to see more

Blake is having a small crisis over having to lead a team is a good touch seeing as she was part of the top of the white fang is probably what is freaking her out about this which would make sense. You brought up a intresting point would jsune facing off against mister no pain cause an infinit feed back loop or would he act like balder obsessed with feeling pain and fighting his opponent. Ruby being ruby is awsome. I kinda feel bad for Wiess she won’t have jaune giving her constant positiv attention especially when she s refused by Neptune. It’s good to see that even though they are close jaune and blake are still human and show that they don’t know everything about each other (as in how they truly feel about each other.). I wonder will yang try and play matchmaker and will ruby have a nope moment with Blake instaid of jaune this time? I liked the chapter

I'm glad that you chose to make this one a very clear secret sharing for Team Barren. Is it safe to assume that Ren and Nora know Blake is ex- White Fang faunus based on Jaune's confession?
