Fucking hell, man. This story. This STORY!

This shit is just amazing. June is so awesomely strong and vulnerable and badass and hilarious and relatable, and the way you write the story sits us right there next to her, and what a RIDE it is. I wish I'd been reading this since the beginning so I could have reviewed every single chapter, because every single chapter had moments that had me swooning and laughing and hunching over my laptop without breathing waiting to see what would happen next. Honestly, I LOVE the little moments and details in each chapter - they really solidify the story and characters and it's such an important part of writing that I know I slip up on, so I'm genuinely bursting with admiration for you. Also, every other character that we know from the movies etc. is so painfully and unbelievably in-character - HOW do you manage that?! Yes, June is a motherfuckin' GODDESS; but, honey, so are you.

As for the future of this fic, I am beyond excited. I honestly am pumped to see where June's path leads her. I love that she's made a new friend in Thayraa, because that girl needs some more empowered women in her life to form bonds with! (Not that I don't completely and hopelessly ADORE the relationships she's built/building with our boys.)

Anyway, I hope you're doing well in these weird and horrible times, and like June and Len, I will wait patiently until the strong, warm, wonderful arms of a new chapter draw me into the story again. Thank you for your amazing creativity and talent, and for gracing us with the powerhouse that is June Adams.

I’ve binged this story in a grand total of 3 days, I’m totally in love with it! I hope you stick with it because I still think it has so much potential, but even if you decide to leave it incomplete I want to tell you that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it all!

I really enjoyed this story and unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot of McCoy x OC. The only issue I’ve come across with your story is the dialogue formatting. You’re using it incorrectly which makes it difficult to read and catch when they’re speaking at first. After awhile I grew accustomed to it. It’s supposed to be “Dialogue” not ‘Dialogue’. I typically don’t read improper formatted stories but yours was just too amazing to pass up. I really hope you update soon!

I just rediscovered this - what a joy to re-read during quarantine. I can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for a great story, and wonderful distraction during a terrible time.

Wow, just started reading all sorts of Star Trek stories and this one is by far my favorite out of the much! It’s so well written and June is such a relatable character. The whole plot is great and I can’t wait to read what comes next. Looking forward to an update!

I have just found your story after going on a Star Trek binge, and I am loving it so far. June is a wonderfully written character. I really enjoyed how to went with a slow burn for the romance between June and McCoy. I think with McCoy's personality, anything else would have seen very out of character since he is a rather prickly person at the best of times.

The pace of the story is wonderful, and every chapter is well structured with good flow. I cheered when June and McCoy finally kissed though. It was a long time coming. There are a few instances where there is a misspelled word or phrase that makes me stop for a sec. However, we are all human, and nothing is ever perfect.

I hope that you will keep writing this story, even if it takes some time to get chapters up. It is wonderful, and I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Yo I've been keeping up with june adams since the beggining (before leonard) recently got an email saying you updated this fic which i hadnt read in a while.
