DrCyrusBortel chapter 23 . 6/25/2018
Star systems are usually mostly empty space, and rather boring to look at on a grand scale.
The Grand Portrait series of photographs taken by Voyager 1 (including the famous "Pale Blue Dot" of Earth) are a reminder of what one can expect from looking at a star system.
I have no idea what a protoplanetary system might look like, or a Dyson Swarm under construction. Zodical light is believed to be intensified in systems with a lot of debris. Either one can make a system look much better - much more worthy of artistic depiction.
DrCyrusBortel chapter 12 . 6/25/2018
The gargantuan volumes of ice and water that exist in the Milky Way would be most excessive for Infantor's needs. Many of the outer Solar System's solid bodies - Jupiter's moons, Trition, Pluto - are partially made of water ice - trillions of cubic kilometers of it. Water is very common in the universe due to the ubiquity of oxygen and hydrogen. This universe ain't ever going dry.

Freshwater supplies suitable for immediate consumption might be much more restricted. It is probable that Europa's vast hydrosphere is briny.

Regarding tumbling shooting stars - only possible if the comet is emitting gas jets causing it to tumble. Asteroids heated unevenly by sunlight also tumble unpredictably (over long timescales). Otherwise, and disregarding multi-body gravitational interactions, space rocks are pretty predictable. Nice description.

Excellent action, good story (B-plot should be commended for detail and adherence to show formula, A-plot is well-written). Very well written.

Excellent. Pretend most of Season 4 didn't happen, and have Paloma stick around.
You have excellent characterization and dialogue. Your Tanya Barrett was spot-on. I just love the italics.
