Crazygirl1023 chapter 29 . 2/26
I just have to let you know that this was one of the best fanfics that I have read in a while. Congratulations on being able to finish it. The whole story was incredible. Great job.
Derekra chapter 10 . 2/12
There's no accent mark in "mijo" or "mija." Other than that, loving this so far!
Savvywolf chapter 29 . 2/8
I cried like a baby at this last chapter and teared up during many more. Thank you so much for writing this!
Paul chapter 29 . 11/5/2019
I like this conclusion a lot although I do wish you’d touched on how Carlos is being remembered more in the world of the living and might be able to cross over
Paul chapter 9 . 11/5/2019
Ernesto ignoring the cops and horrified doctor as he rants was truly creepy but him saying he should have liked Imelda and coco was gruesomely brilliant.
Oscar and Felipe comparing what Ernesto did to hector to one of them killing the others was powerful.
Paul chapter 6 . 11/5/2019
The shantytown scenes were among the best Coco ones I’ve written, especially with how excited they are to hear Hector chested the final death.
Paul chapter 3 . 11/5/2019
Helena’s talk with Imelda was one of my favorite scenes of this story particularly the alebrije noodle incident. The description of how he grew more desperate every year was pretty grim.
Paul chapter 1 . 11/5/2019
Great scenes with the doctor. I applaud you for grasping hectors struggle given how he almost does fade.
Great lead up to Miguel talking to coco about what happened.

Ugh, someone get theses two a councilor or something. They really need to work on their communication skills...
SkyClawson89 chapter 29 . 8/21/2019
Loved this!
Guest chapter 29 . 4/27/2019
This story was beautiful and I loved it. Thank you so much. I can't get over the poetry involved when using the musical terms and I always appreciated your explanations at the end.
Such a perfect story.

ChameleonGiant chapter 29 . 4/13/2019
Omygosh I’m still cryyyiiiinnngggggg!

I couldn’t figure out How Miguel was going to deliver his letters without Dante or putting them on the ofrenda. I almost forgot despite my curiosity, but I NEVER expected him to have Coco carry them into the afterlife to his family. I was really shocked, I think my jaw dropped a little at the realization. I really still don’t know what to make of it. It was just too sudden and unexpected but freakin’ ingenius!

I loved seeing that. Seeing the different ages and experiences between these characters coming together: the young father, the aged mother and the long-lived and experienced daughter finally reuniting with one another. Coco’s response to her Papa’s uncertainty mealted my heart, it was so dear and perfect and comforting. Getting to see them catch up and reading all of Miguel’s letters was a really warm, soft and sweet tie-up to this story. It complimented the sad realization at the beginning to the long awaited reunion

This story is a treasure. Thank you so much for writing it!
ChameleonGiant chapter 28 . 4/13/2019
I have not stopped gross-sobbing since the last chapter :,,D. Oh my goodness! ! ! Just,, , what possible words could I use to express how moving, beguiling, heart-wrenching & brilliantly delivered this story has been? I can’t say anything that would do you justice. In honor of the musical language you’ve bestowed throughout each chapter, it would only be appropriate to label you as a Virtuoso yourself! In writing and in pulling the cords of my heart strings to this melodious and intricate tale that you have expanded on. I only wish that I had sought out this movie sooner so I would of been compelled to search for more Coco content & found this amazing story so i could of been there to root for you throughout it’s entire process & journey. I’ve mostly spoken my thoughts at the end of these chapters as if the end weren’t obviously neigh and I had yet to expect to see what would happen next. But I am really not exaggerating when I say that I’ve really enjoyed reading this story, and about how inspired it’s made me feel all the way to the end. This last chapter was especially just that & crazily exhilarating to read. Such an astonishing and well crafted build-up.

I couldn’t help but gush after reading this chapter, even though it seems like there is just one more left to finally tie it well & neatly together. You make it so very difficult not to want to share a spare thought or two about what you write. What’s more, I am completely in love with Imelda’s character, much more so than before. She was definitely one of my top 5 favorite characters already. But I quickly grew to love and appreciate just how frustrating and passionate and captivating you’ve she could be. I love the depth of her character so much, she’s just as complicated of an individual as Miguel & Hector in the film and I love how much you explored that for her in this story. As well as the many other wonderful characters and your OCs. That’s always tricky but you’ve done it so beautifully! Now I KNOW I’ll have to check out the other Coco story you’ve briefly mentioned between chapters later... ;)

Oh no... I’m not really sure what to say after reading this chapter... but it was amazingly written. Pure torture. I definitely felt deeply anguished while reading it, making me wish that there was still another way out of this, that such hurtful words hadn’t needed to have been spoken...

It’ll be good to see how they pick up the peices again. I know that there’s gotta be a solution to this situation but the amount of aching pain & devastation felt from decades of anger and remorse feels so potent that it honestly does almost seem like their relationship is unsalvageable...

Ohhhh! Please prove me wrong!
