Lack of consistency is a factor in thsi story. Either you forget what you’ve written or change things and not tell the reader.
At the beginning Harry worked in a elementary school, which we don’t have in the uk, but I think it is the equivalent to our primary school. Next thing he’s working at Hogwarts in a high school? It’s confusing, and distracting. I think you need to edit, or have notes on who does what and change them chapter by chapter to suit the plot at the time.
The idea of Harry and Hermione adopting is interesting and unique, but the inconsistency and grammar issues have let it down.

Could do with an edit, a couple places I had to re-read as phrasing or wrong used words made it confusing:

“While holding Robert was holding Emily in his arms, Emily turned towards Harry with a mischievous look. Harry gulped feeling like a deer being hunted.

"Well my dear Harry," began Emily, "since you added this little lady is an official Potter, I think another Granger should become a Potter as well. Oh look, there's a Granger lady right here who's been open for the position since your second year." She said as she made a big gesture in Hermione's direction. She smirked as Harry and Hermione were trying to sputter out anything resembling words.“

Stop, holt rewind, all thsi magic? Did I miss the explanation that emily was magical or the orphanage was a magical one?

chpters 1-8: charming stories or snippets. What happens when the golden couple have a biological baby? I guess Tonks is alive in this story so no Teddy for Harry to care for.

If Harry is teaching & Hermione is working, who is going to be caring for Emily during the school year? She's only 4. Considering most kids don't start school till 6, she's very young. How about a birthday party for Emily? As they live in Hogsmeade, have the professors made Emily's acquaintance? Lot of stories out there with a 4 yr old. Has Harry made a trip to Gringotts to put her in as an heir? Perhaps do a heritage test to find out about her birth parents? Sweet story

This is amazing and beautiful. I love everything in here. You really are amazing in portraying this characters. Keep on writing! (Jk, take your time I know life can get hard and make it difficult to write, but please don’t abandon this story)

I suppose, as Hogsmeade is a magical village, not mixed, that all the kids there must be magical or squibs.
