I hate it when you give us a great story then not continue it, especially since it's Rosegarden, one of my top 10 if not top 3 couples, been two years , pls post...pls.

Just found this fanfic and I must say... it's got potential ! The idea of Oscar getting to Beacon early may not be particularly new, but this was well written enough to get me pumped. I'm sure are hoping that his mere presence makes the events of canon truly change, like seeing the normal JNPR and RWBY teams get completely modified in their composition if he joins the initiation test for an immediate example... anything that will promote new interactions between our characters is good in my book, Because while reading copy/pasted dialogues from the show may be fine from time to time... It gets old fast ! So be careful, for you did that more than once between chapter 2 and 3 and those passages are the firsts savvy readers knowing the show will skip out of boredom. If you so wish, always remember that as this is a fan fiction, you can just skip them to get to the important stuff : your actual original content ! ;)

Also, on another note, Nice first meeting between Oscar and Ruby. The identity of who saved our dear Rose didn't last the night, but hopefully the actual mystery of Mister Pine's presence at Beacon takes way longer to resolve himself haha ! I'm sure are impatient for what comes next and seeing them become friends tough, they make such a good duo after all :D

This is very quickly becoming one of my favorite RWBY AU fanfics. Before Oscar was introduced I shipped Ruby and Weiss, but now that I honestly think about it Ruby and Oscar have better chemistry between them. Plus the fan art for Rosepine is absolutely both hilarious and adorable.

I have to say I'm a little worried about Oscar be made a student and what this will me for Team RWBY.

Small nitpick but shouldn't it be six years. If he was eight before, he should be fourteen at the start of the series.

So while being board I decided to check on your profile to see if you have said anything about progress with Daughter of the Stars to see you have a RWBY story. Although I don't really ship Ruby and Oscar just yet as I don't see anything romantic between them going on at the moment, I'm open to the idea of it happening. I know the pains of having an imagination that wants to come up with new ideas constantly, so I feel your pain in that regard. By the way the ship name Rose Garden is just in line with how ship names go with RWBY.

I like the back story you've made for Ozpin and Salem. Makes it more personal. Poor little Oscar having to be left behind and I can't help but feel sorry for his aunt. All the characters felt in line with canon.

So, is this Amber younger. Cinder isn't that much older then the main characters so for her to go and get the powers now when she may only be in her early to mid teens seems to be pushing it a little.

I really liked this chapter grammar story and charector wise so far there are some problems like some parts of oscar dont seem fleshed out but that is probably just because of how new the story is im really curios where you will take the story like what kind of team he will be on if any how he will properly be introduced to rwby and jnpr im also curios of if he will have a cane like ozpin or if he will have his own weapon. althou i like the story it has a long ways to go to be a great story but thats just because its new
