I think you have a good story plot, but idk if this is exactly how harry would have responded to this situation. Snapes ooc. He does not give compliments and he never had a potions club. Also your missing words. Like not spelling errors but word errors. Im reading a sentence and it goes like "Errol fell into Hermione's milk making it go the place." Note that is me making it up as an example, this exact sentence isnt in the book but the scene is.

Great chapter!

Not to be too critical, but you could at least make some effort to maintain some continuity. First Harry is told he will be helping Lockheart with his fan mail, then he is told that McGonagall has no idea what his detention involves. Then Harry and Ron are told their detentions are to start at 8 and lo and behold, Harry has been in detention for four hours and dinner in the great hall is likely nearly over. Not really good enough. I do like your Harry's believable attempts to up his game educationally and physically, understand his over-maturity, but not so much his disposition to flaunt it, and I can just about accept that he is seemingly reluctant to change anything at all, presumably in fear that doing such might risk perverting the time line, 'though you haven't said that, but not how he is seemingly surprised at everything that happens when he does have future memories which you have said.
