God damn this is good . I absolutely love the byplay between ilia and Emerald. Though im also looking forward to the fallout of his friends and family finding out hes alive and what hes up to. Here is to hoping for amber to play a role soon. And oh god his and cinders meeting could be legendary (i do believe she would try to recruit him. Question is has Salem told her about him? I still believe the reavers are decendants of her afterall. )

I love this story But i am a little cornfused was ruby born in this timeline if so is Jaune older or youner than her I'm sure you might expand on this later but i guess I'm just wondering the basic timeline as to canon story is it
-Tiayang and raven get together have kid
-Summer goes off and "gets drunk pregnant" with Jaune
-Raven abandons tiayang and yang
-Summer leaves the reavers and abandons Jaune
-Summer gets together with Tiayang to later birth Ruby
-reavers wipeout campaign starts
-Summer leaves again for whatever reason (mission for Ozpin or possibly a personal mission like finding and saving Jaune before he is wiped out with other reavers)[this could be before the wipeout campaign started depends on when and why she left]
-Jaune's home wiped out saved by Winter and Ghira
-Summer dies/goes missing or something happens to make her soul inhabit the doll [first part of this could be before Jaunes clan is wiped out]
-thus leading to the current storyline
Or is Jaune younger than Ruby thus the shift in the timeline being that when she left Taiyang, Ruby and Yang to do a mission for Ozpin and she was captured by reavers, or got drunk while on the mission, and then got pregnant with Jaune only later to leave or go missing to later inhabit the doll

I’m guessing Wiess saw a picture of jaune and winter earlier in her life and winter trusting her sister above all else probably told her younger sister of her own son. What intresting dynamic are you making here.

So Jaune is becoming Cinder by virtue of existing. Unless the plan is that Cinder is also a Reaver or something.

The story's marked Jaune/Ilia yet in this chapter Ilia doesn't like Jaune.

Now I understand fiction and stories and all that shit, and it's possible this was written before that volume came out, but it still exists that Ilia is a canon lesbian. This won't stop me from reading, but there's a layer of squidge I feel at the idea.
