I have read this story three times now. Somehow I know that I'll be reading it again. This is by far my favorite version of the Outsiders. Thank you for writing this and giving me something to love as much as if not at times more then the real book. Because this one has a happy ending. It always makes me sad to read your authors notes on my annual read through adressing the Jerk who kept talking badly about your spelling and your work because you did such a amazing job writing this. Screw that person. You are so talented and I hope you never stop writing. And I hope that even though you've moved on to writing about other fandoms you never forget the impact you've had on this one.

Oh my god! The Outsiders is my favorite, I usually read it at least twice a year. I hate to say it, but I honestly liked this better then the book! I love that it has a completely different story, but follows some of the same points. Your an amazing writer! This is the best thing I’ve read on ff in a long time. Better then most published books. I hope you are or plan to be an author! Gahhh! I cried so many time it this, I’m so glad it has a good ending!

This is probably on of my favorite fan fictions I’ve read. You are a great writer and a great story developer. I love how you don’t make the characters super sappy but yet you still deliver the effection that gives you that weird feeling that makes you want to smile and cry all at the same time. I love how you don’t make Ponyboy a pushover. You clearly show that he is used to taking care of himself, but that he still longs for compassion and protection like any child of any age would desire. I’ve reread this multiple times. You truly have an amazing gift

I’m on the verge of tears! This story was a masterpiece! A piece of art at its finest. I felt so many emotions reading this story and I love the bouncing between the future and the hospital bed towards the end of the last chapter. Also seemed perfect to end this story just like the original. Beautiful all around so thank you for writing.

Wow! I truely loved this story. Can you believe that I started to get teary-eyed in the middle when Pony started talking about how it would be with his new family. I loved how you ended it ... just like the book. I find that even though you strayed away from the main storyline of the Outsiders, that you still made everyone's characters accurate to who they are. That made it easy for me to become in love with this story. I can't wait to read more of your stories.

As this fanfiction came to a close I felt a grin spread across my face. I've read a lot of different kinds of Outsiders fics. The kind that makes me go, "Awwww" or is the ones that are so intense that I need a while before I can regain my composure. Somehow you managed to do both. I know I said that the last chapter was my favorite, because I do love it, but I love this one even more. If I was the type of person who cried at happy endings I'd be sobbing right now. Oh, and I like how you made the ending like the book, that added a nice touch. :) I'm sad that this is over, but I couldn't be happier with the ending. Keep up the amazing writing!
