I am really liking this fic! Sometimes the vocabulary is a bit too heavy, but that's fine. I can't wait until Marco comes back to Mewni, as I think when Marco and Star are together, the fic is at its best.

I like it. Interesting story of how they would grow up as young adults. Hope to see the next chapter soon.

I really loved how you handled Star's side of things, and I especially enjoyed the moments she shared with Moon. Very sweet, and very true to both characters. River was also a delight.

I'm very curious to see what you might do with the Mewman courting rituals. It'd be cool if you did something really wacky and/or crazy with it. Like, having them both have to fight an ancient creature of indescribable horror. Or, maybe one of them just makes them switch bodies... Or fuse together, forcing them to 'act as one'... Stuff like that would make for a really interesting twist. Of course, it'd also be great if it were just something as simple as a 'truth spell' that makes 'em blab all of their deepest secrets, desires, and insecurities. Maybe some kinda twist on the Naysaya curse... That'd be interesting to see.

If the next chapter has the festival in it, I hope you'll use that as an opportunity to show us what Ponyhead, Kelly and various other citizens of Mewni are up to. I'm always a sucker for side-character cameos. I really loved the way you handled Star's interactions with her parents, so I'd love to see how you write her interactions with other characters.

Now onto a proper review: great characterization. That touching mother and daughter bonding; that was the highlight of the chapter.

And hey, I can always appreciate more Janna. She brings a certain humor only she can manage.

I am clearly not a very sharp person so could you kindly give some clarification of what happened between them that is making them so scared?While i am pretty sure you implied it or even straight up wrote it somewhere I still dont really understand so could i perhaps get some clarification or is it going to be discussed at a later chapter?

A great chapter! I remember the first time my wife's parents let me stay in the same bed as her when we were visiting. (She was my fiancee at the time) I was certain it was a trap. I can imagine how Star and Marco feel about it.
