Peeta was a last minute replacement for Santa where Gale worked. He played the Stana Clause for the story. He set him up with Kantiss his cousin. They hit it off right away. There was something about Peeta that threw Katniss to him.

She saw his compassion, humor and warmth. Peeta went with her to see the man/daughter at the hospital, went to see the kids in the ward playing Santa Clause. Katniss joined him in the festivities. He went to see her sing and partake with her family during Christmas. It showed the depth of Peeta's heart toward Katniss.

He proposed to her! Katniss was shock, but she knew in her heart she loves Peeta. They got married! LOL! He was the nephew of Santa Clause! They were traveling pass Canada! LOL!
