I'm rereading this wonderful story a year later, and it's just as magical as it was the first time. Even though I already knew what was going to happen, I was still holding my breath in anticipation, my heart skipping a beat every time they connected a little more... It's so wonderfully romantic. Go get him, Rory!

begging you to continue. Clearly your writing speaks to me! I especially love the way you portray Jess. I love Jess :) That being said ... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue this story!

I love this story. Especially the parallel at the end of Rory getting on a bus to New York to get Jess.

I love how you worked lorelai into the story. Wish we could see their reunion, but "it is what it is."

That take care from Jess almost killed me. It seemed so final. Dismissing. After reading her dedication and song request, I was squealing. That came to a complete halt. Now I'm dying to find out what happens next. I'm happy that contact has been established.

What is she doing? What is she going to say? This woke me right up!

Why did Jess go to the car when that group appeared? Were they old friends he was trying to avoid? It's not that he felt they were dangerous because there's no way he would leave her alone then.

I really like the format you have going. We get both of them in each chapter, but more importantly, we get Rory thinking over and analyzing every little thing he's said. I think you're doing a great job writing Jess. He sounds like himself. Sharp wit and concise with his words.

Really liking the story. Sorry I didn't tell you before. I just had to know for sure it was Jess. Then there was something else I really had to know and I felt like I couldn't wait to write you a nice message. Still don't want to wait now, but the guilt of not reviewing kicked in. Especially since I'm enjoying this story.

I like it. I like the easy banter conversation. Jess seems very mature here. I can't see Lorelai being this accepting this soon, but it works for your story, as Rory obviously wanted her mom to know and be somewhat okay with it before she'd pursue Jess. You write really great stories. I look forward to more.

I loved everything about this story. I have enjoyed many of your stories and hope you keep writing. This would make an excellent start for a sequel!

This is so good! Dialogue-heavy pieces seem like they’d be hard to write. Maybe because so many writers do it poorly? I know not, bUt I do know that you got it right. My heart rate accelerated as Rory rushed to the bus.
Will you gift us with a sequel in the new year? We kind of need to know what happens.
