Ptolemys pyjamas chapter 20 . 4/15
Relatively good until Hogwarts.

Shift away from Hogwarts simply replaces Rowlings characters with less interesting placeholders with non English names. Deliberate move away from the action.

Hazel turns into a character with no ambition or aspirations despite reiterating the fact that she does want to be powerful and achieve true freedom. While most characters are made less interesting in this fic, Voldemort is actually far more interesting. A caricature in the canon, he has far more depth here. Voldemort and Lily are the best charcters of this story.

Basically it's now a story about a girl Harry who just attends classes and gets laid with some random plots on the side.
Caver Floyd chapter 20 . 3/23
I decided to read this story again. This is the first time I’ve consciously decided to do so with a fanfic. (I’ve reread other fanfics, but only because I forgot I had read them originally until I was halfway through)

The characters and worldbuilding in this fic are top notch. I noticed the wordy rambly-ness more this time through, but it was still mostly palatable. Really the few things that aren’t good with this story are the kind of things that would be addressed by an editor if this were an actually novel, so good job I guess.
fireball900 chapter 20 . 2/19
One thing to also consider regarding magical nation unification, is that magic makes it really easy to just *hide* and *avoid* problems. Nations (and most larger group identities) came about in order to face other groups.
As such, I wouldn't be surprised if there's lots of minor enclaves - the magical equivalent of city states - where druidic-forests, or river nypmps, or muggleborn expats, or pureblood isolationists, etc - are technically within a magical government - 'Magical France' for example - but are only nominally under their control. Like how Hogwarts is often treated in fanfic, for example.

I suspect the USA is an absolute *mess* of nations, from all the various natives and immigrants, who probably arrived and frequently just disappeared a claimed bit of land, resulting in lots of mini-magical states that *maybe* have an extremely loose 'federal level.'
Guest chapter 20 . 2/15
I love how fleshed out your world and it's magic seems! The little details really make the world, like the feathers in the hair, or the intricacies of wand making. I'm sure you would make an excellent D&D dungeon Master!
I'm really enjoying this story!
Wolfman217 chapter 3 . 2/7
Hahahah, just realised; in every one of your fic's where the Harry/Harry-Equivalent IS a parselmouth, they are sorted anywhere BUT Slytherin (even when they CLEARLY suit it), but on the one occasion they are NOT one, they ARE sorted into Slytherin.

(yes, I still can't believe Charissa wasn't sorted into Slytherin :P )
fireball900 chapter 15 . 1/28
Lily's frustration has me laughing.
fireball900 chapter 14 . 1/28
Wait, so canon!Diary!Riddle was part-Myrtle! That's a rather hilarious thought.
