Absolutely outstanding! I had always wondered what Hector was seeing/going through as Miguel was in the land of the living and this is just perfect. Headcanon accepted!

Then, Victoria helped with finding something comfortable to change Hector into, Finally, once the broken bones of the unconscious Hector were patched up and he was changed out of some old, tattered clothes, he was later laid on the soft bed, for most of the spring and summer, each rivera took a turn in watching over Imelda's lifeless husband, waiting for him to be revived. Eventually, with coco closing to passing away and the chances of Hector's revival hanging in the balance, Imelda gave in to how much she truly loved him and pressed her lips upon his for what she thought may be their last kiss, but suddenly, by some miracle, her kiss of true love for him has restarted his breathing and he was awakening as the life force that was siphoned from him had returned to him. to the delight of the whole family, their long, lost patriarch was revitalized. they believed that everything will be alright."

I'll be honest, whenever my eyes landed on My Proud Corazón, I'd read it all over again and tearing up each and every time I read it, especially when the song started. You made the scene from the movie all the more magical with Hector added in.
