Quarantine has got me reading and I just found your story and it's awesome... I would be lying if I say that I didn't cry during 'Hela to be Queen' (or whatever) chapters... I love this story ️... Also Marvel has actually confirmed the mind stone theory...so you were right and Loki was never the villan...good, right? Anyways I love this

I recognised the Sherlock and John cameo immediately, I really enjoy all the fun cameos you stick in your stories.

This was another enjoyable chapter, despite a number of typos. It was interesting to see the way you handled the conflict between Odin and Hela’s views on Asgard as conqueror of the realms. To see her motivated by more than lust for blood and power but rather seeing Asgard as the only realm capable to rule the cosmos is a believable alternative to her character in the movie. I enjoyed Hela’s conversation and friendship with Heimdall and seeing her come full circle to agreeing with her father by the end of the chapter. I love the little details you have tied in, like her sensing the dead being the motivation behind Odin returning to the custom of funeral pyres. It seems reasonable that Hela would perfect certain spells and not waste her time with others, and I like the idea of her being a blacksmith with all of those weapons. Hela really wouldn’t be good with children, would she? Little Thor at the “why?” age is cute, especially when he asks why baby Loki is sad. Baby Loki’s piercing stare is cute too. It was fun watching Hela take care of her little brothers. Her discovery that Asgard isn’t perfect after all and how it leads her to understand her father’s POV was satisfying to read. Frigga is such a wonderful mother, and it’s always a joy to read the scenes you’ve written between her and Hela.

I absolutely love the premise of this story. Also, I agree 100% with your “I do not own this. If I did…” statement. Anyway, seeing Hela as a relatively-well-adjusted older sister to two little brothers is such a great starting point. Your descriptions are captivating, and you’ve written her point of view so well that I was drawn into the story at once. I can see her being like this, slightly cynical, feeling replaced by Thor and generally being annoyed by him. The scene where Hela tries to stab baby Loki and he transforms is packed with such great conflicting emotion. You’ve captured Odin’s quiet strength and Frigga’s warmth and concern well too. Little Thor promising to protect baby Loki is so precious. And of course, I loved the part with Frigga comforting Hela when she finally came out with her feelings about her brothers.
