I will never not thirst for Caesar and Firefly but this quenched it quite a bit. I squealed out loud at the end. And I didn't think I could love Thistle more than I did when she was born at the end of The Prize but I do - I do love her so much. She's such a bouncy little child. How could you not love her?

I loved everything about this. I loved when Caesar brought her down and Thistle continued to cling to her father's back. I could just imagine that and it left me grinning. Caesar is such an incredible father and I do wish we had seen more of him with a younger Blue Eyes and even Cornelius in happier times.

I also really enjoyed the moment between the three of them. That second-to-last paragraph? Oh, honey, my favourite. How can you be so amazing with words?
