I was grinning the whole way through, other than at some pieces that were a bit morose. This was a joy to read. Aside from it being adorable, I love how you worked in the friendship to this world and had an explanation for why it doesn't really exist now. It makes perfect sense - Donald's new responsibilities would change his life a lot. I love how gung-ho Dewey is about the letter and how you fit in all of their personalities so well. Minnie being an untouchable actress? Fabulous. Mickey being the old friend who made it big after he knew Donald? Just stupendous. And the fact that Donald always still supported his friend silently is just... ugh, what great characterization. I just love this. I love this SO MUCH. You're an amazing author with such a great grasp on this universe. I really really hope you keep writing for it! :D
