I love this. I didn't realise how much potential for weird, wacky and entertaining storytelling there was in Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

The chapter titled 'In the Way' were a bit darker than the rest of the story, but heartwarming, despite my unfamiliarity with the characters. I'm sure there a lot more references in here that I didn't catch (I only noticed the 'caterpillar tongue' thing because I've read that particular story by Dragon before), but it managed to be accessible so kudos for that. :)

About the first chapter- is Lucius gay, trans, some intersection of the two? I haven't seen any fics of that type that don't make him a Veela or some other magical creature. (Also, it's cute that he wants to let Draco know that it's okay to want to explore this sorta stuff if he wants/needs to.)

Maisie dear, I meant to review this sooner but my tongue kept getting tangled in the computer cords. And did you know that a computer mouse doesn't taste like an actual mouse? How very peculiar.

All that aside, this story is marvelous, and I want to thank you for writing it. Tongue balloons. Only the brilliant mind of the Maisie could come up with that. But oh I see my sibling has made illustrations depicting my bachelor party. Perhaps I'll slap my tongue over them and no one will notice. *covers drawings with tongue* There. All gone.

A delightful evening, licking everything in sight while waiting for our meals to arrive. It is the perfect pass time, wouldn't you say? It also gave me quite a laugh to see my sibling throwing rice in her face while declaring her age. It was quite entertaining.

Fabulous, darling! A new tongue brush is precisely what I needed. And of course the ending is so scrumptiously sensual with the hints of what's to come. My goodness, I could just lick it. But I think I'd rather lick the author instead.

AH this was awesome. and so realistic! i love that alecto hates intimate moments between you and amycus. and then the restaurant oml that was perfect. "i was under the impression that you required three adult reservations." yes. just yes. and then ralph the grain of rice XD. i love this so much maisie.

This was surprisingly funny. The bickering didn't drag, and Amycus resembling an anteater made me laugh. The 'just cause' introduction was a good idea; means you aren't trying to hard to have it fit into canon. There wasn't really any sense of timescale here (you could have had it as a Muggle AU), but as it stands it's short and sweet.

Thank you for writing this. I like that you wrote about us. It's written so well it reminds me of that book Ma was showing me... That one by that miss Rowling lady. You write like her, and I really enjoyed reading this.

Omg I'm just *melts*

That was my first reaction when I read this. I just - I'm overwhelmed by the amount of sweetness I see in my baby in this. asddfgghhjkkll Alright, must think coherent thoughts. Yes, I'm melting because my baby is so sweet and I can feel everything he's feeling in this and my poor baby. Mommy still loves him she just gets a little busy at times, which is normal for us grown ups. Ahh, still melting. My heart is just melting here.

Alecto is really sweet, too. It's cute that I'm carrying her into the kitchen at the beginning. I can see all of this so clearly in my mind and wow. Just wow Maisie. I love all of this so much. ♥

[Dragon appeared to have rice in a few strange places.] *snorts* do I want to where exactly? Lol

This is actually really adorable, and it captures the moments and emotions so well. To me that says you could be a professional, published author because you do so well at bringing these characters to life and showing their emotions. Especially Credence's emotions which is why I melted.

Aw, and then there's the time Credence couldn't sleep and didn't have his usual potion. I remember that, and all of this works so well when you put it together and make a story out of it. The Credence feels are strong here. And he's perfectly in character.

So many feels when Credence says he knows he gets in the way. Poor baby I just want to give him a hug. All that sounds exactly like something he'd say and do.

The ending is so precious, with me and my baby together on the couch. I'm loving this so much, and then Alecto joins us in the morning and it gets even more precious with all of us together. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The little pygmy puffs playing together in the end is adorable. I want to review this and leave a thousand hearts in the review. But since I can't do that have a few more. Because this deserves all the hearts. ♥ ♥ ♥

Bellatrix is so funny in this, bouncing up and down on Lucius' bed. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if she really did that because she's Bellatrix and she can get away with practically anything. It also doesn't surprise me that Narcissa has to grab her sister and tell her to leave lol

Poor Lucius, brought Voldy the wrong kind of peanut butter and now Bella is laughing over it. I am too, and I must say Bella makes this whole thing hilarious with her actions and reactions.

Oh my gosh, Alecto chewed on his cane! RIP Snakie I'm laughing so hard right now. XD And then Draco ate up the Toaster Strudels. I'm imagining Draco sitting on the kitchen floor with a bloated belly and Lucius just looking at him like he's about to cry.

The ending is very sweet as Narcissa talks to him and tries making him feel better. She's such a good wife and there probably were times in canon when she had to help him through the rough spots. Ah, but now he has the sniffy old lady to deal with in the morning. Makes me wonder what'll happen if his hair is still purple and little miss old and sniffy gets to see him like that.

There is a dialogue in Billy Elliot about a father who puts on the mother’s clothes. It ends with something like this:

“Only when he thinks there is no one watching.”

That’s the first thing that came to mind when I read the first chapter of this fic. I tend to like writing about Slytherin characters, particularly about something other than the death-eater/murdering/torturing/really-evil aspect of them. So I was eager to read this story. But, oh boy, this was not what I expected.

I think you built up the suspense in the beginning really well. I didn’t see it coming and when he finally picked up the dress… That was so funny! Well done. Way to break expectations. #

Characterization is not exactly spot-on, but, this being a humor fic and all, I don’t think that was the point to begin with. Also, the whole thing ended up being a tad too superficial. Okay, so, Draco is just going to pretend it never happened? Doesn’t he think about what this means? Doesn’t it impact the way he thinks of his father (particularly considering how Lucius ordinarily treats him/speaks to him)? I get that this is a short fic but the ending could have been better written, to at leat imply that these matters are not irrelevant.

But that’s not a big deal if one doesn’t take the fic too seriously. Again: It is humor after all.

Great job creating a very entertaining piece.

This chapter seems Interesting and I like this chapter.

this is an interesting idea. i do like the idea of lucius having a more... eccentric and unique side. however, i do think the reasoning for this could have been better written. it was a tad more awkward than i would have preferred. that being said, i did very much enjoy the imagery of it. it's an interesting snippet into the life of an elusive character.
