Lmao! Truly the greastest series ever written. But, there is no accounting for the stupidity of humans. I always found it comforting that so far in the future with mentats, the Bene Gesserit, mutations that are so far from what we are now; stupidity hasn't been bred out. Not sure it's possible! But, amusing tale. Thanks!

Agreed, Dune has a great world, and is a great setting with some of its background ideas. But the question that has always puzzled me is how the h$%! did they get there to begin with when all the characters are so stupid?
