Enjoying this quite a bit, as always. After the previous chapter, I was really wondering what kind of tricks Starbuck had up his sleevebut it's also clear why they were not recommended in a real Viper!

For the record, thrusters are verbally mentioned in The Man With Nine Lives when Starbuck is pointing out the different Viper controls for Chameleon, so I think your inclusion of them is consistent with canon.

Looking forward to finding out how Starbuck takes on the Cylon post and hopefully gets out of this mess. Typical of him to survive unlikely odds by the skin of his teeth.

Nice chapter. Your depictions of the academy feel very authentic. I also like how Starbuck messed with people by using their own insecurities. I love that he thought he could get away with manuevers a real viper shouldn't be able to do.

Hey! Somehow I didn't get the last couple alerts on this story, but I love how it's shaping up. The suspense is getting real.

Nice backstory on Starbuck. I've always found his character to be very complex and deep even though sometimes he was portrayed as maybe a little shallow or superficial, it was all a facade.
