i can't believe benny is going to kill ethan! i love the switch of roles that youre playing with here! like benny's frustration with ethan is finally peaking and ethan's frustration with himself as a result of everyone around him is finally coming to some change! that's so fuckin cool man!

also this bolt stuff! and like ethan mentioning his family? im really curious to learn more about ethan dude, he seems like he is under a lot !

also also, i really love that last line. "until dawn came, he kept staring outside the window of the living room, realizing for once how beautiful the whitechapel streets were. he was going to miss everything." that really hit me hard ! it sounded like the words of a man who knows he's dying and ! big oof! it serves as a testament to just how thoughtful and well written this story is :')

oof i missed TWO CHAPTERS? time to bingeee

anyway Y'ALL THE STERN STUFF WAS BADASS ! the planning and the execution and then benny teleporting out while holding ethan ! that made me happy ! i love how action-packed it was while still integrating some character development? like benny watching the crowds of people cheer and his thoughts on it, and ethan's back and forth with stern – it really just continued to show their true values and beliefs and i thought that was really clever!

i also really loved erica in this chapter. idk why, but i think she is like my favourite character in this fic apart from benny/ethan. her frustration with ethan being so involved in her life and like her protectiveness over not only herself but over benny ? *chefs kiss* but also SARAHHHH what a kind soul ! she is literally the most patient person on the planet, between ethan and taking ethan side when she thinks about what she is going to do with erica knowing? i love it so much? actually you know what i might like the women in this story more than benny/ethan,,,or maybe i just love everyone lolol.

im so excited to read the rest! onto the next chapter for this bean :D

SAY WHAT?! BENNY'S GONNA KILL ETHAN?! :o NOOO! NOT MY DEAR SWEET ETHAN! EVEN IF YOU ARE A BAD GUY AND IS EVIL IN THIS STORTY! I STILL LOVE YOOOUUU! *breaks down in tears* D.X Lol! :P

I know that you've basically gave us the outcome of how it all end, but...I'm still holding out a teensy bit of hope that the possible ending that you laid out of us already, isn't the case. That it's just some...author mind trick thing to throw us readers off somehow from the real ending. Lol! So, until the final chapter actually does come, I won't give up hope for a possible hidden plot twist that none of us saw coming. ;) I mean...what Ethan saw in his dream vision and in all those others that just showed him winding up dead in the end at Benny's hands, were just one of countless possibilities. And he stopped before checking the rests of them because he got tired of seeing himself dead in all the bad ones and the only good one that he did see (so far) was him running away like a coward. I think there's still at least one more possible good outcome for him (that he didn't see yet) that not only doesn't leave him dead at the end but also allows him to keep his dignity intact by not running away.

Oh, boy! I'm kina exited and scared to see how this story finally ends, though! :D

wow what a chapter I love it

Well, that's one major disaster prevented from happening. Lol! Too bad for Ethan and Sarah another (minor) one has already started, though. Only difference is that in this latest up coming disaster no one's lives are in danger here. Only relationships are at stake this time. ;P

Looks like Sarah and Erica are in for a very LONG talk about this, huh? Lol! I wonder if Ethan plans to stick around for it or if he'll make himself scarce during the whole conversation? And I wonder how Benny will react once he learns that Ethan has a son with Erica's girlfriend, too?! :D Oh! And that they (Ethan and Sarah) are still all buddy-buddy with each other, too, even after knowing what Ethan does on the streets of Whitechapel as a side-job (more like his main job, really), also! :D Lol! :P

So, Ethan wants to form a temporary alliance with Benny and Erica in order to save all the superhumans in Whitechapel. I guess, when a bigger threat arises you just have no choice but to team up with your enemy (or enemies) in order to defeat it, then, huh? Lol! If Benny does decided to go through with the temporary team up with his nemesis then I hope he and Ethan will be able to work together properly without their current feelings getting in the way of things. Oh! And we'll also get to see how well their powers work together, too! :D Even if it is only for a short while, though. Maybe this little team up will help mend their relationship together? If not just a teensy bit, maybe? Tee-hee! ;)

Nice touch adding in a few details from "The Date To End All Dates" episodes. With maybe a bit of tweaking here and there to make it fit the story better. ;) Like, instead of the Lucifractor being able to drain the dark energy from something, it's able to drain the superpowers from people. Oh! And we also learned how some of the citizens of Whitechapel became superhumans, too! Because of a weird and mysterious (probably freak) explosion of purple light that knocked out a bunch of people in the process! And when they woke up? Bam! They now have superpowers of some kind! :D It's like I'm reading a superhero comic book or something! I can't wait for the next installment in the series to come out, then! *giggle* ;D

And hey! I didn't even know that there was a Marvel character called Vision until like...about a month ago. When I was watching one of the many cartoon series that they have of the Marvel universe out of boredom, one day. And he just happened to be in the episode I was watching. Lol! But you're right! Vision is just a word, thus it isn't trademarked or copyrighted for others NOT to use when naming something. Now, if you had put Marvel (or Marvel's) in front of it, then I think it probably is trademarked/copyrighted then. Lol! But since that's not the case with your Vision, then you're good! :) At least, with me, that is. Lol! :P

AHHH thats such a clever thing u did! adding in the lucifractor and stern and all that buisness! its such a good way to have benny and ethan work together with this different dynamic they're dealing with. also erica is in the mix too (in both sarah's life and benny/ethan's, hell yeahhh) which hopefully means we can see her shine as well her new powers, question mark ? please? lemme see what erica can do please? *grabby hands at erica's narrative* :pp

im really excited for this part of the story! i think it's a great way to develop the characters, especially since the large part of the dramatic tension has now been revealed. i can only imagine more angst, more bitterness, and probably more goofs (from rory, nerdy bean) :')

also erica has healing powers, but i somehow doubt that is the end of her hidden secret. she was like,,, way too defensive when benny confronted her. im really excited to see where that ends up!

also benny and ethan splitting :((( its so interesting to see it from two different perspectives. also the last bit where ethan is a) feeling bad about his son and b) is thinking of embracing his villainous side :oo is ethan's vision gonna come true ? AH SO MUCH TO UNPACKKK :'))

yes a new chapter and I love it even more then the last one

It's like at night in his dreams, Ethan is at war with himself on the inside. His inner good self is acting as his conscience and is trying to convince current Ethan/outer Ethan to stop what he's doing before it's too late by showing him the same disturbing glimpse into his future without giving away too much detail. Too bad, though outer Ethan won't listen to his own inner self, that is. He knows what he has to do to hopefully stop the dream vision from coming true, but his greed and need for power so he won't ever feel weak again, is blinding him from the truth. I think that in end, the only one who's gonna be hurt the worst by Ethan's evil plan is going to be Ethan himself. Wizard's not his number enemy, like he thinks. Instead, it's himself. He's his own worst enemy and he doesn't even realize it.

Benny's break up with Ethan has got him all off his game as Wizard. Rushing in without thinking (and heeding Erica's advice on how to handle the situation, too) to go deal with the guy with superhuman strength wreaking havoc on innocent civilians in their place of work.

So, that's what Erica has been keeping from him! She's secretly a superhuman, too! And her superpowers are healing! I guess, now that Benny knows, if he's ever injured while out in the field as Wizard, he can just have Erica be his medic and instantaneously heal him! That way he won't have to go to a hospital and risk his identity being exposed while being treated! :D Lol! But, she'll probably start getting pissed eventually in having to heal his reckless ass all the time, though. Lol! Even though, she did keep her healing abilities a secret from him, Benny decided to let this lie slide since she's still on the side of good and all. Unlike, Ethan and his dirty secret and lie about being Vision, his arch nemesis, who's on the side evil.

I like this Rory! He's got witty comebacks when it comes to Erica's snide comments towards him! Lol! At least, in this chapter he did, anyway. Which was hilarious when he told her, "I have a gun" with a straight face, after she threatened to kill him if he didn't keep his big trap shut about their little secret operation that they're running here on the side, as a...somewhat unofficial superhuman taskforce, you could say. Lol! ;P Now, the team is all assembled and ready to go! GO TEAM, uh...whatever you call yourselves? Hehehe. ;P

i can't believe the truth is out and yet more things are yet to be revealed! the dramatic irony of knowing both benny and ethan's lives as a hero and villain respectively really made the reveal as heart-wrenching as it was! and ethan's motivations made me just wanna do a lil sniffle :'((

i wonder what's up with erica? i really find her fascinating in this story, like i enjoy that shes like close enough to the story that she's memorable and we see her importance/have some trust with her, but she's also distant enough from the main plot that she isn't completely unraveled to us? if that makes sense? so im pumped to see how that ends out!

i also like how sarah is just the supportive voice of reason for ethan :')) i hope ethan's darkness doesn't get the best of him that he hurts sarah or danny because that woul be goodo :')) so excited to read more! :DD

Well, sure as hell loved it! :D So, much shit done went down in this one! Ethan done outed himself to Benny, now! And revealed his dastardly plan to him, too! Part of it, that is. He told him what the endgame of his plan was, but not how he plans on accomplishing it, though. Now, poor Benny is broken, confused, and so lost after learning the truth and seeing who Ethan really is and how badly he's been consumed by his dark side. And the bad thing about it is that Ethan's been like this way before he ever met him, too. Ethan's so deep into the darkness, that not even he could save him. Not entirely, that is. He might've been able to pull Ethan out the darkness just a smidge but not enough though before it quickly pulled Ethan right back into it's grasp fully, again. Can Ethan be saved now at this point of his life? Man! It's getting real up in here! I'm so excited! XD

I also wonder what this secret about Erica that Ethan mentioned to Benny is about, too?! And how it'll effected Benny once he founds out what it is?! :D Man! Feel so bad for Benny and just want to hug him to death until he feels better. And Ethan, too. Even though, he's the bad guy of all this and is the cause of all of Benny's pain, too. But come on! Bad guys need love and sympathy, too. Right? Plus, Ethan's hurting just as much as Benny is, right now, after telling Benny everything. Also, I can't hate entirely on my boy, either! No matter what he's done! Ethan's my main man, yah dig?! Lol! ;P

Anyway, I'm totes excited to see what happens next when you do finally get the next chapter done, though! I don't care if it takes you a decade to finish it, too! I'll still be right were waiting and ready to read it, my friend! ;)
