Bonus points for the literary allusion in the second paragraph!

THAT WAS SOOO FREAKING CUTE ive currently rewatched the anime and i forgot how much i loved it and this ship oh my god you rlly portrayed them perfectly and my heart clenched everytime the confident flawless diana got so shy when akko says or does something remotely affectionate omfg i love this story thank u for sharing it!

Well despite the differences between the 1st and 2nd chapter; I really enjoyed this Diakko story. That and Hannah and Barbara ship is great too see as well.

I am laughing on the second chapter, if not much more than the first one. This fic is more precious than a violet dye in medieval times! (I mean more than gold). I have been reading back and forth between chapter 1 and 2 and this is fucking genius! I scared my lil bro when I was cackling like a maniacally. Sucy could not be anymore perfect!

This fic was absolutely delightful. Your comedic writing has a nice pacing to it that makes ordinary scenes entertaining to read. It feels like an adorkable teenage romance, yet somehow manages to juxtapose what would otherwise be mundane conversations with enough bombast to be dynamic and energetic. Most fics I read try going for too much drama and take on a serious tone that tends to clash with the format and the source material, but thankfully you keep things light and fun.

Really though, your ability to segue from paragraph to paragraph is really impressive. It reminds me of an anime called Kare Kano (His or Her Circumstances), which transitions from gut busting comedic scenes to low-key drama almost naturally like a balancing act. Even in those more emotional moments, you make sure not to linger too long so not to make it feel overblown, which shows a lot of restraint on your part as an author. It really helps to make the whole thing flow.

My favorite thing about the fic was the structure of the first two chapters, which was a real stroke of genius on your part. The contrasting perspectives say a lot about Akko and Diana as people, and speaks volumes about their personalities while also using the structure to your advantage. I honestly thought chapter 2 was the end because of that lol.

I also can't not mention the title, "Ride on Shooting Star." It encapsulates the core motif of LWA, that of stars and dreams, references a kickass The Pillows song, and has the double meaning of being named after the legendary broom. It's fucking perfect. Kudos to you for being clever and making me smile at just the title alone.

Speaking of references, that Kiki one was adorable. I cried watching it in the theater with my sis, and reading about Akko doing the same was oddly relatable and earned this fic bonus points in me witch-loving heart, if only for the novelty of it all.

Closing thoughts: Sucy is criminally underappreciated and the "wow, softer than her hands!" line was golden. This "review" doesn't do your fic justice, but I wanted to scrawl my thanks and appreciations for it anyways.
