But in all seriousness I really like the concept of this fic. And the fact that it came from an in-game event makes it all the better. Battle Network is outside my usual niche but it's you and the summary looked interesting, so... :D

The bit where Lan took one of the photos to squirrel away for himself got me the most. I find it sad that the parents don't talk about it, like they just hoped Lan forgot or something (though I suppose there are some mitigating circumstances, if MegaMan knows he's Hub; that would get complicated fast), but that little bit was really sweet.

There's a line in Battle Network 5, when you examine the picture on Lan's desk; "it's a carefully displayed photo. It's of two small boys. It's one of Lan's prized possessions." and I'm really emotional

Your BN oneshots are always so amazingly full of feels. I still haven't finished BN1 (that net design), so I wasn't aware of this question, but that's... pretty sad. I bet Miss Yuri feels pretty bad. And Megaman, I wonder what he's thinking?

This is definitely believable to me. It's confirmed that they DO have photos of Hub. I mean, in BN2(?) Lan remarks that there's a photo of the twins on his dad's work desk.

Did Lan ever considered bringing it up to his parents before he found out the truth about Megaman?

I've seen how the NT series seemed to have completely glossed over the fact that Lan and MegaMan are twins, and pawing through albums actually seem like something a kid Lan would do.

Poor Lan, he didn't see it coming.

But I love how he seemed to be that kind of whole again without realizing who MegaMan was.
