Reviews for Mending What Once Was |

![]() ![]() I loved it and this was totally not at all what I expected going into this and adding Lancaster into this made it so good but I feel that some of the characters acted differently then they do in the show on some moments but they made sense on the end good job and keep it up |
![]() ![]() Love the concept but there are no details for any scene and terrible sentence structure throughout making it hard to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() And yep, you just reinforced my believe about how shallow this is. Weiss will forgive Blake for being a part of a terrorist faction with a vendetta against her family but not Jaune. Then again, it kind of fits. In my opinion, from what I remember of canon, Weiss is a terrible judge of character and sticks by her first impressions unless forced to re-evaluate them. This can be seen with her relationship with Ruby, Blake, Neptune, and even Jaune in the later parts of RWBY. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I get where you're going with this, but this story lacks depth, and it's kind of dull. There is so much you could have done that you haven't. For example, I'd like to how ostracizing Jaune for his forgery might affect how Weiss reacts to Blake being a terrorist. After all, while Blake may have earned her place in Beacon, unlike Jaune, she has also been involved in terrorism for Weiss doesn't know who long (around five years in reality). That's why I'd have liked to see more conflict than them "glaring with disgust, Jaune being sad, rinse and repeat." And I don't mean conflict like them all suddenly bullying Jaune, as everybody seems to portray it, but rather internal and interpersonal conflict, like a clash of ideals. |
![]() ![]() ![]() And nope. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another pansy idiot excuse for a writer... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Uh you do realize that a combat school is FOUR years and since Ruby who is 15 was in her SECOND year when Pepin invited her to come to Beacon early so obviously they start training before going to Combat Schools so probably start training at 10 or 12. |
![]() ![]() ![]() very nice way to end the story |
![]() ![]() ![]() Quick question how many cookies is too many for Ruby? hmmm |
![]() ![]() ![]() three out of the Five people required Jaune to put his life in peril to prove his worth. One out of five was through his own agency. Now the greatest challenge asking the girl to the dance. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rip Nora mad that not good into the Dog house you go Ren, That doctor I feel for his the same kid keep getting injured and the school year not even done yet |
![]() ![]() ![]() What non lethal poison what type of enemy of humanity is this. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() SO that the reason alright fair enough |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well done Ruby nicely played |
![]() ![]() ![]() To earn Blake and Yang forgiveness it take a near death experience as for Weiss it take a civilized conversation how fitting. |
