| Duke157 chapter 2 . 10/20/2017 Firstly, I'll get rid of everything negative that happened here, so I can rant about the positives near the end without worrying too much. You still have your usual SPAG mistakes, but they are far less frequent than the other story that I reviewed. Also, they were particularly prominent through chapter 1. Chapter 2 was an improvement by comparison, but there were enough to say it wasn't as squeaky clean as one would hope for. And the correct word would be 'universe' not 'dimension'. This is neither a positive nor a negative, did Hermione and Ron die in the universe Nemo is from? If so, is this a third universe, separate from the canon-verse and the universe where Nemo is from? And now, onto the positives. Ohhhh... that mike drop moment at the end of chapter 2 was AMAZING! 'Always the smartest, weren't you Moony?'. Chapter 1 was okay, but chapter 2 has got me hooked onto this story. I'm going to be following this very closely. Your world building was really good, describing all of the things that were different here compared to the canon-verse. But the best part, after the reveal, was probably the idea itself. Really really good. That and 'Mouldywarts'. My reaction was not that different from Fred's. No thank you for my wet laptop screen. Keep writing. |
