i love sobbing whenever i reread this fic-

This was one of the most devastating and emotionally painful stories I’ve read, but it’s also without a doubt one of my favourite pieces in this fandom. It touches me in a way that I don’t think needs explaining, and the amazing writing makes that even better, makes it hit even harder. Thank you so much for this 3

Honestly, it was nice story. I like how you made the little details (or side factors) mean so much through out the story. Like how EDs can have some relevance towards being skinny, but it's usually/mostly a coping mechanism. That trying to recover for someone else won't help you, but recovering for you will. I feel like you used slightly triggering adjectives, in later stories (if you choose to write about this topic again), I'd suggest more variety of adjectives (you used ghostly, skeleton quite a number of times). Also instead describing how thin she is, you could describe how pale she had become, how lanugo was growing on her arms, stuff that isn't so romanticizing. Another thing I felt you could improve on is using an adjective and then in parentheses using a more powerful word to emphasize the adjective, just use the powerful word! Keeping that in mind, I enjoyed your writing and think you have a great future in it.

It was good. I’m studying psychia right now, and it’s really vital that the patient seeks help willingly, which you managed to portray wonderfully. This is quite the original, wherein we have a very vulnerable Jade West fighting anorexia. I like it. I like the delicate delivery of a sensitive topic. I think you wrote this well.

hit closer to home than i thought, love it!

I'm still crying five minutes after finishing this. I struggled with EDNOS as a teen and I was once so thin that everyone thought I was going to die, including myself. I refused help and I was resigned to what I thought was inevitable. It turned out that I had some pretty amazing friends that weren't going to let that happen and they helped me find someone who could help me get better. This story brought back a lot of memories, both good and bad from that time in my life, and it's very well written and beautiful.

This made me cry so much. Currently sobbing. This reminded me of what I went through a few years ago. You wrote it perfectly. Thank you.

Another great story! I can’t get enough!

this story is so real. I’ve struggled with a lot of these issues in the past and currently. my weight fluctuates frequently because i have a metabolic disorder. i also come from a family where everyone is insanely skinny. and it’s hard when your own family (my cousin) calls you fat (i’m not- i’m average weight for my height) and even if i were, i wish that “fat” wasn’t used an insult or with entirely negative connotations. i believe people should care for their bodies and be healthy, but i also don’t think there’s one version of healthy. you have to find what works for you and your body and whatever size you end up is beautiful. someone who’s bigger can be healthier than someone who’s smaller. outward appearance shouldn’t be the sole deciding factor in a person’s well being. it’s taken me a long time to believe this realization and my medical situations and constantly being in and out of doctor’s offices (some good experiences and some bad) have certainly opened my eyes to the fact that you have to figure out what is best for you and not listen to the negative stuff people may say about you along the way. anyway, this story really touched my heart and i related to it a lot, especially since i have the same body shape as Liz (who obviously plays Jade). you did a great job at capturing the raw emotion and struggles of Jade’s situation. i don’t know what i’m rambling about anymore, so i’ll shut up and probably go to sleep now haha, but thank you for sharing this story
