I just love how this is a very different prompt, an older OQ. Oooooh the sexual innuendos between them, they’re so flirty! I thoroughly enjoyed this and i’m hoping more is coming in this verse! (I’m making my way through OQ prompt week so fingers crossed!)

I absolutely love this verse! I hope we see some more glimpses into their lives as they continue dating and falling in love.

Every once in a while you read a fic that somehow hits all of the buttons you didn't even know you had, and you find yourself grinning through the whole thing because you could not possibly be more delighted by it. This was one of them, for me. The small town vibe translated super well here, and I love that you kept Regina as mayor. I adored the way they used puns to flirt (OH GOD THE PUNS, I'M SO WEAK), but there's just the right amount of heart to this that really feels indicative of your style as a writer. You always manage to capture the second chances theme with them, but there's a maturity to this that feels... rarely captured. They're a decade and some change shy of this in the canon, but I bought into it immediately. At the same time it never stops feeling fun, youthful, tentative and new. Thank you, so much, for writing it, and sharing it with us. Definitely going on the rec list to come back to again.

I think I've found my new favourite verse. I mean it's not exactly a surprise because this tends to happen when I read stories of yours, but...I don't know, there's something special about this version of them that just warms every last corner of my heart. Perhaps it's the fact they find each other so "late" in life, when neither of them seems to have considered they'd have this second chance. I love Robin's hesitant approach, how intrigued he already is by her, and their bold and audacious banter is so undeniably OQ, as is the shared bond of parenthood and past loss. I laughed at Robin's discovery of who Regina is, and thoroughly rooted for and enjoyed their way to arranging that first date. I never wanted it to end, and at the same time couldn't wait to see what the future brings. Thank you!

Laura, this is beautiful. I will admit I am a total sucker for older couples falling in love, so that's only made me love it even more, but it's also wonderfully written. I adored the flirting between them, it was funny and sassy and super cute. I also appreciate the setting you chose for this (as some who constantly gets dragged to hs football games to watch the band :P), I think it's great. I can't wait to read the rest!

What i love aboutnyour writijg is there is always amazing dialogue. And you always nail the OQ banter. It's just so FUN to read them, and they are so sexy and cute and... really everything. I have already read this fic several times, each with a big smile on my face.

For me it's special, because as you know IVF always feels like a thing people in the fandom don't like to talk about - it's all conceiving a baby naturally or accepting infertility with none of the in-between of fertility treatments discussed. and it means a lot, to read this so well done and respectful without there being a slight to adoption or any implied judgment about IVF. Because both choices shouldn't be judged, or graded.
