This was great. I would love to see how it would be for the team if Tim was a part of it with Gibbs as his father, but I guess he probally wouldn't get to work for his dad. Thanks so much.

Good story - as indeed have been all the others in this series. However, I'm surprised that you decided to kill Shannon and Kelly off, as it doesn't really add anything to the story. As this is AU, it would have been nice to see Tim, Sarah and Kelly grow up together. What I did like is that this time, NIS got their act together and tracked Tim and Sarah down so that they only spent months living in the Homeless Camp, rather than years.

Interestingly, in this version of Tim's back-story, Rob never became part of their little family.

Aah so the error wasn't the site's, but yours ! Apparently you had a lot in your mind to make this mistake, or were sleep deprived like you mentioned :) . No worries though, you caught it fast ! I wonder if Connections is a sequel or an alternative story. We'll see. But I still hope a sequel where Gibbs will restart acting like a father rather than the bastard he apparently became. And will Tim still start working at NCIS ? I'm crossing fingers !

Hi, this chapter broke my heart, both Kelly and Shannon dead and missed by Tim at his graduation. I love that he's keeping an eye on Gibbs, who's never gotten over their deaths. However, Gibbs still had Tim, Sarah, and Geo to look out for, and Jackson is there too. Tim brought a lot of tightnit family together! And Agent Balboa has fostered (or adopted?) their friends which is a wonderful idea. Thanks and cheers!

Hi, I'm late to the party, which apparently has the benefit that I got to read the entire story in the intended order. I finished reading, but I wanted to say how wonderful that the investigation progressed and speeded up to the point that Franks and Balboa actually found the kids! Gibbs had listened to the attorney, and gotten their foster certification, allowing all the kids to join them on the trip home. Loved to see Nate in action, too! Thanks and cheers!

Since when does ff only allow one review per chapter? I tried to post this on the fixed order and it wouldn't allow it. I've been on AO3 too long. That site allows much more interaction between readers and writers.

so here's a question. since Gibbs and Shannon found Tim and Sarah, does this mean Rob pretty much doesn't survive because they weren't there to take care of him since they didn't meet him til a yr later when Ellen disappears?

Don't get me wrong I like this. But I was really kind a hoping for at least one more chapter in between two and three basically describing them finding them at camp and everything else like that. Still it was very well done good job. Deidra
