This is the most poignant and wonderful thing. I was really sad to see Joe leave after series 4, but this short piece does wonders for my soul. It's very much in-character for Vera to do something like this, and for these reasons. Beautiful writing hon, perfectly atmospheric and brooding. Helped heal my little nerd soul. 3
