It's a really touching story. Thranduil and his wife is one of middle earth's unknown story. Though she was unnamed and her death seems to lead the elven king in such cold demeanor. It's their story that I love to read in fan fictions and your is one of my favourite. I shed a tear on the last part. Kudos.

That was so amazing! I'm so in love with this story ... So many people think of Thranduil as a bad person, but they do not know his true intentions in the movie to get the jewellry. I'm so glad you wrote this, showing your readers how it looks like in Thranduils heart, his loved wife ripped away from him.
