I read the entire story and felt like I was on a rollercoaster! Both Dean and Roman won their battles, I had a few tears roll down during the flashback abuses.. No one deserves to be abused for any reason.. I felt like a cheerleader and they were my team! They won and got to stay together! Amazing work!

That was a tough one for me.. I couldn't imagine how someone could be that evil to another person, especially a child. I don't condone violence but in this case, Roman truly snapped and no one can blame him. I am glad he has people to help him and he got to confront his "family" for the last time. That's therapy..

This is my first time reading this story and my heart hurts for Roman.. No one should have to go through that just because they exist. I got a little upset myself because he didn't ask for the torture and punishments. He just wanted to be treated decently. I hope Dean and the others can help him trust again..

Such a great ending to a great story. They found happiness in each other while fighting the battle within themselves. Can't wait for the next story. O am sure it will be great like all the others.

One phrase comes to mind with this whole story.

"If you walk through hell, keep walking."

Roman sure kept walking and finally came out on the other side.

Can somebody come and hit me over the head lol because I just put two and two together that Mr. Borden was Steve Borden aka Sting. I like the fact that Roman wanted to prevent a child from having to deal with being abused sort of like he was. Also I love the fact that it was Roman who proposed to Dean. It showed his growth not only in the relationship but within himself.
