| Sauron's Wrath chapter 2 . 6/17/2019 I find it a bit ridiculous that the protagonist knows absolutely nothing about Game of Thrones, especially since you stated he's a fantasy nerd. Even if he didn't know that much about it, he would know enough to recognize the names and places of where he is now. There's also the problem of making your protagonist overpowered. I know he has magic, but making him do this shit is just too much. The Night King isn't getting here any time soon, cut him some slack on the powers. |
| Sauron's Wrath chapter 1 . 6/17/2019 It's a good start, but there are a few things that confuse me, such as the knowledge you gave the Westerosi. They are little advanced in the ways of science, much less mathematics so I don't think they would know of Pi or the Golden Ratio. Maybe something similar to it, but not that. Too much similarity between worlds. Another thing is when our protagonist (I like the temporary name, but it's always good to have a base name) is listing off his oddities to Ned he isn't really fazed by it. Sure, Starks are terrible about expressing their emotions, but goddamn it he would just be asking about the plastics alone than have a mocking understanding of it. |
