| Guest chapter 3 . 8/3/2019 Aww, this is really sweet and one of the more original story ideas I've read so far. I love the idea of Merlin confiding with a tree, giving it a personality, especially because with magic it's possible for Merlin to communicate with a tree like this. |

| wryter501 chapter 2 . 9/7/2017 the bit i love the most was when arthur thought of the enemy sorcerer as a 'fellow human being'. that was really nice, from arthur's pov. :) but overall, this was a really lovely story. i like arthur overhearing all of merlin's feelings - it's different than just, merlin telling arthur how he feels. well done! |

I love Bartholomew, everything about it is so Merlin and I especially loved the part of him as a kid trying to hold back his magic. "Do you know how it feels to be a monster?" You can't forget just how much Merlin has to hide and how he feels about himself and his 'evil' Magic that he decided to give to Arthur completely and how much he just...ahaha he's so loyal and selfless and yeah. I love this show. This story is very well written too. This review is all over the place. Oh well. |
| Guest chapter 1 . 7/17/2017 Isn't this heavily stolen from another fanfiction? The Broken Past by kjayla if I'm not mistaken, chapter 7. Even the name of the tree is the same. I understand building off from something, but credit should be given where due and that story is pretty up there with favorites, so I would either mention something or take this down before someone gets mad in a less than nice way. |
