As someone that used to write stories and publishing them (in another platform) when she was younger, I completely understand what you are going through. I too, often look at my older stories and cringed at some of the things I wrote. Getting older matureing and understanding a whole lot more about relationships and how people interact. This is a story that I used to read when I was younger (and completely forgot that it still existed somewhere in my account) so when I saw the update I was surprised, but I decided to go back and read it to remember what it was about and now going back I kind of agree with you. The way they meet, the way their relationship is structured is wired. But on its own it's an amazing idea and if it's still something that you are passionate about I think you should totally rewrite it and make something that you are proud of.

Writing something you love should never be a chore... When it becomes one, you know it's time to step back and take a brake until it flows through you again. If not, the frustration and apathy towards the story comes out in the writing and then it's no fun for anyone. As we grow and mature and experience new things and different forms of inspirations our own mentality changes along with it and that's both a good and bad thing for stories. Good because it improves our skills, but bad if you try to force it into something that was already forming out of a different mindset... because that also shows up in a story's cadence and can throw off the whole flow and texture of it.
Basically, this is a very long-winded way of saying that I understand where you're coming from and though I did enjoy both versions of this story, I look forward to reading whatever new version you come up with! I really hope you have fun writing it and exploring your OC, Addison, more in-depth as well. She is a very interesting concept as far as OCs go and I still love the idea of a story with her and Spencer together and having both their worlds/realities colliding! I have always loved both of the stories I think they are written well but I can understand wanting to improve and rework! I think you have an amazing storyline and some really well thought out characters. I look forward to where the story heads next.

i love what dean says at the end. But if i am being honest there are several mistakes throughout this chapter. Like missing letters in words..etc...just wanted you to be aware of that.

Seems tht Gideon make the right deal with Addison, send hear back wouldn't drug problem.
