Tsk, why can't he be both or just go full King's route? Sure, things would've been different but goddang he could gather influence, political power, and some sways to help him defend Vale and help Ozpin and Beacon with that greatly.

Went through the whole story within a few days.
And damn was it a nice ride so far. A trully great story so far.
Can't deny what Jaune did in only a few months of time is nothing short of amazing. It surely helped in convincing many people (mostly Junior at the beginning, later his friends and sisters) that he knows for a fact that if they don't work together to stop Salem, they're screwed big time.

I gotta say, the way Watts "convinced" Larissa to work with them left me a bit dissapointed in her character. I mean, all you have to do is use the "maybe you brother could do it better" line and she's already on board with whatever you suggested? The sibling issue between them (that Jaune already pointed out when he first met them) is more serious than I imagined.

I hope to see an update soon. There are many things I look forward to in future chapters.

Most of all is this "Team femme fatale" Sienna has to assemble on Jaune's orders. The possible future team drama between Winter and the others is enough to look forward to. It would had only been better if you add Goodwitch to the mix, but sadly she's not an option because of her loyalty to Ozpin AND she'll have her hands full with the Festival already.
It's the part of convincing Raven I'm wondering about. Though if she learns that in the future-past her tribe was wiped out (most likely with her aswell) when Salem sunk Anima, she might be more cooperative, but there could be more that Jaune might offer her.

The other thing is the upcomming battle(s) Cinder will take part in. With her death being one of Jaune's top priorities and Adam's team hunting for her, I'm sure it will be quite the battle when it happens.

I feel like this story is circling back through plots it already should've addressed at this point. This story is basically a harem-power fantasy, yet the main battles of the first 'leg' of RWBY canon seem to be being fought for no other reason than spectacle. By that I mean, Jaune has countered Cinder and co.'s moves every step of the way, yet you've still written in all these other OC characters and the narrative in a way that seems designed to careen the narrative back to a 'Battle of Beacon'. I get that battle is a sight to behold, but as a reader, I find myself asking what's the point then? Jaune checkmates his opponents over and over again, has more power than anyone else save maybe Salem and it apparently is going to amount to nothing. As a reader, that's a very frustrating conclusion to come to, since the point of time-travel fics is to change events and outcomes for the better.

I can see neo double crossing jaune because she will go back to jaune after all of this is over.
